Where is the information for user authentication logged
Hi, Pardon me for asking a simple question here. I have checked internet but found no answer. I am using Tomcat 5.5. If the user logs in, is there any log file that record the name of the user and login time? I have searched in Catalina_log.xxx, localhost_log.xxx, and localhsot_access_log.xxx but found no user name in them. Am I mssing anything? Many thanks in advance. Shu - Yahoo! Messenger with Voice. can not deploy application .war in Tomcat
Hi, Our own application uses Tomcat as web server. When tomcat is started, it should unzip and deploy application .war files. However, we got error: <<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Caused by: java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.socketConnect(Native Method) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I searched on internet and only found that it could be related to firewall configuration on the machine. Does anyone know what is the possible cause? Many thanks in advance, Shuwen - Get your own web address for just $1.99/1st yr. We'll help. Yahoo! Small Business.

tomcat ssl client authentication
Hi, I would like to find out how to configure client authentication when enabling tomcat to run on https. From http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-5.0-doc/ssl-howto.html, it says that *** For using clientAuth on a per-user or per-session basis, check out the tips in Bugzilla 34643. ** Does it mean that if I would like to configure client authentication, I need to patch the .java file on http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=34643? I have found various sources on internet regarding the issue. Can anyone recommend a reliable way or point me to the reference for configuring client authentication?
