Chart/Graphing Questions
AOO415m1(Build:9789) - Rev. 1817496 2017-12-11 17:25 ; DELL desktop; Win10-64 Home edition I think there is a way to accomplish my wish; I might have done it once before, but a long time ago. I did not find any solutions in the Calc Guide Chap 3 documentation. I have created an XY (Scatter) - Lines Only graph based on data contained in $G$6:$G$41. The existing graph has a Y-axis that shows 0 to 700 (increments of 100) and an X-axis that shows 0 to 40 (increments of 5). My questions concern the Y-axis: 1. I want the Y-axis display to start at 300 (350 would be even better) and end at 700 (650 would be even better). 2. It would also be GREAT if the Y-axis is scaled in increments of say 5, or 10, between 350 (start/minimum) and 650 (end/maximum). If any of this is indeed possible, what must I do ? ___ My other questions are about editing/revising/correcting the labels assigned to a existing graph: 1. For example, if I made a typo in the Title of a graph, what must I do to correct the error, w/o creating the graph from scratch? 2. Or, if a Legend is included, how can it be removed? 3. Or, can I add a Subtitle to an existing graph? _ TNX, and Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms out there. VinceB.
Pasting Chart/Graph into eMail Client
AOO415m1(Build:9789) - Rev. 1817496 2017-12-11 17:25 and ThunderBird 60.6.1 on Win20x64 Home edition desktop _ I need help to paste chart/graph into my ThunderBird eMail client. I am not certain if my problem is TB-related or is AOO-Calc related. When I attempt to cut&paste a selected Calc chart into TB, the labels assigned to the chart are not being carried over. Is there something that I must do to include the label attributes? I have been printing the selected chart as a PDF file, and then attaching that to my outgoing email; is there a better way of doing this? TNX. VinceB.

If any of this is indeed possible, what must I do ? o First select the chart. To do this you need to double-click it, so you see a thin grey border, not the eight green handles and the anchor symbol that you get from a single click. o Now double-click the y-axis itself or its scale labels. Alternatively, you can right-click the axis and select Format Axis... or go to Format | Axis >| y-Axis... . o On the Scale tab, remove ticks from relevant Automatic boxes, and set Minimum to 350, Maximum to 650, and Major interval to 10. My other questions are about editing/revising/correcting the labels assigned to a existing graph: 1. For example, if I made a typo in the Title of a graph, what must I do to correct the error, w/o creating the graph from scratch? 3. Or, can I add a Subtitle to an existing graph? o Select the chart as above. o Right-click the chart area and select Insert Titles... . o Add, modify, or remove Title or Subtitle. 2. Or, if a Legend is included, how can it be removed? o Select the chart as above. o Right-click the chart area and select Delete Legend. ... and Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms out there. Can't print from Open Office
I thought it was my printer at first, but it is printing just fine from other sites. I've checked to make sure my printer is listed in Open Office as the default printer, did printer updates, even installed the latest version of Open Office, and my printer is still spitting out blank paper when I try to print documents saved in this program. I have read just about every forum on the internet on how to fix this problem and nothing is working. Do you have any other ideas? It concerns me that I have a lot of documents saved in this program and now can't access them. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Karen DiTullio-Ewell

As you are using Windows close OpenOffice and the Quickstarter. Open File Explorer. Copy and paste %appdata%\OpenOffice\4 in the File Explorer (sometimes called Windows Explorer) Address Bar and press Enter. Rename the "user" folder - "user.old" is a good choice. Start OpenOffice. This cures most spellcheck problems. This happens usually because you power off your computer too hastily or close the laptop lid, before the internal buffers of the hard drive have flushed to the disks. -- Rory O'Farrell - To unsubscribe, e-mail: users-unsubscr...@openoffice.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: users-h...@openoffice.apache.org
Re: Can't print from Open Office
Sounds like the printer queue or link on your computer is misconfigured. Delete it in your OS (whatever is appropriate) and reinstall the printer on your computer On May 12, 2019 at 12:45:12 PM, Karen Ewell (gigglec...@comcast.net) wrote: I thought it was my printer at first, but it is printing just fine from other sites.
