Do you still pay a monthly service bill to Charter Cable? If yes then your jsmith3...@charter.net account should still be available and you can contact Charter technical support for assistance accessing the account. If you no longer pay a monthly bill to Charter then Charter will have disabled that email account. Apparently you used Outlook to send/receive email via the Charter account. A common way for Outlook to be set up would be for your email messages to be copied into Outlook and saved in its data file. If Outlook was set up that way then all your emails would still be available in Outlook. However Outlook will not received any new email from or send any email via the jsmith3...@charter.net account if the Charter account has been closed. Presuming Outlook was set up to keep a copy of the emails on your computer that "profile" as its called can be modified to also include this GMail account you're using now. That way you can send and receive emails to/from this GMail account while also having the history of the emails from the charter.net account available. So... are you still paying a monthly service bill to Charter? - If yes contact Charter about access to your email - If no the charter.net account does not exist anymore and the copies of email in Outlook are your archive For additional assistance setting up Outlook so the charter.net archive and this GMail account are both displayed when Outlook is opened (both accounts in the same profile) refer to the Microsoft support forums.
Open Office
I have been using Open Office 4.1.1. I mistakenly deleted my Open Office 4.1.1. I have tried to download 4.1.2. It did not fully download on Sunday. The download just stopped. Can you please help me? Re: Compatibility
Not an Apple guy, so I can't tell you if AOO 4.1.2 is compatible with your op sys. If you download ONLY from www.openoffice.org and no where else you will be "safe" in the sense that you will not get any "add ons"or assorted malware. That site should list compatiIble Apple OS versions, if the set up parallels the Windows part of the openoffice.org site. Database Set Up
TWIMC: In all the time I've been using AOO (since its inception) I've never come across a problem like the one I am experiencing. I want to set up a relatively simple Database in order to track some daily medical reading. I have AOO 4.1.2 which I am using with my Mac which operating system is OS X Yosemite, 10.10.5. I seem to be able to set up a heading and can even save it BUT when I go to open it in order to fill it in it nothing happens. No types, no space, no nada. Can you possibly help. Regards, Thomas E. RE: Compatibility
Been using it since it came out on my Mac desktop and MacBook Air, both with 10.11.2. The only problem I have is one that has been an issue since the beginning of my use of Apache OO. Sometimes, when too much stuff is open, OO crashes when I try to open it. I simply try it again and violà it works. No big deal. > From: lestrangewest.elizab...@gmail.com > Subject: Compatibility > Date: Mon, 18 Jan 2016 10:21:06 + > To: users@openoffice.apache.org > > Good Morning > > Is AOO 4.1.2 compatible with my Mac OS X el Capitan 10.11.2 please. Open Office changing my document from word
I am so annoyed with you right now, that I feel a strong hatred for you. I can't believe your software is so invasive that you would change my Word Documents to ODT without asking permission, and without making it easily user friendly to undo. You are automatically changing my Word documents and they are disappearing. Stop I want to keep your software, but you DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO CHANGE MY WORD DOCUMENTS Please tell me exactly how to undo this mess and stop your software from changing my Word Documents WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!!! If I could scream in your ear personally right this minute I would. You are annoying! Cathy

The odds are that when you gave permission for it so to do, you didn't pay attention to what you were doing. >and without making it easily user friendly to undo. It is trivial to undo it. However, to tell you how to undo it, reuqires that you tell us what needs to be undone: * Is it a change in file formats? * Is it a change in where files are stored? * Or is it some other change? jonathon -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- Version: GnuPG v2.0.22 (GNU/Linux) iQIcBAEBAgAGBQJWnZEsAAoJEKG7hs8nSMR7Cg0P/37OLE+uP6BcEU1wCV+gXyoG YhRkXfZvgRfZ+43jSZze41HPxJZ5uswpaC7WRqQCFjJnfBhgxuXkz36Yjt7aVxtf gIsN0jeLZdd9R8ZWI+bdWVeVB4ZHWdxWASKJSNuzdbqqzYtcdBhL2TlbAWFwAddp pgwg05Q/VRwEabK7vI8zgo319yTWh9O7Qt9IPbwkKRP/gJp90+2XBp5bI66fwyML aphjSDhQ7dMKGUjJbuSMGUWA+xDFdhrzS9LibTKAP9vBX5fjSFPJsJj5EaJWdaxg CbzJoJHD1wqvUlZARYyu2LKtTJ71NxjeWgjlqOVkhvM3kylqmyvb9ykF+woJNsvk zK0bNCZaUI/CzqJW1Wf6BqZ7iCdkfIUBJpwRnDRAdFhi67qXfO2a6ijoMlY/0Ixs hsSiu2tZNt4x+aJM26yimJIKuam+xpMJYTGSI+AqgY2Jb+1w+9AZUcVrA4Lx/h4v 16yogksYuJ3YI7FWmXyovm9vVBOte/+M2Wc/L/snECv1e30QJdwVy3Gc2HfOB89S IcfGqXqTS9wp+Ypyh8R1dALX/Y7gBiHrwxkE5gVcxCc8u9mfl/ekS1yyUlv18ac4 DuWY/wvEZuYpaZEQdK7GXe7QBqdv6XQoHaPhvq07wsTQnWlTrDrB7ncc9jFhTgEd 0fV1qeJG4BHS0Wm1k3J+ =VzZn -END PGP SIGNATURE- - To unsubscribe, e-mail: users-unsubscr...@openoffice.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: users-h...@openoffice.apache.org

You need to remake the File Associations to tell your computer which program to use to open MS Office documents.
