OpenOffice.org 3 folder
I recently installed OpenOffice 4.1.1 but there is still an OpenOffice.org 3 folder on my hard drive. Can I safely delete this folder? Thank you, Phoebus

If not, just delete te 3 folder. -- Rory O'Farrell - To unsubscribe, e-mail: users-unsubscr...@openoffice.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: users-h...@openoffice.apache.org

If this does not work, then remove/rename the whole user profile. Regards -- Ariel Constenla-Haile La Plata, Argentina signature.asc Description: Digital signature

Hello Guys. I wanted to update my Open Office. But I really do not know, what is the difference between those 2: - Download full installation - Download language pack Which one shall I download. It is very unclear. Please, in the future, add some explanation. Thanks a lot and thank you for your work. Sincerelly Ing. OPEN OFFICE - NEW RELEASE
Hi Having found OO very useful I'd like to update to 4.1.1.1 per your message. However the question about identifying the platform beats me. I'm using OS X 10.6.8. Thanks Jim 07960 954577 or 020 7476 7851

OpenOffice 4.1.0 and 4.1.1 require OS X 10.7 or newer. "OS X 32-bit" is the value you should set for platform, and you will get a warning saying that the latest version of OpenOffice we have available for you is 4.0.1. Re: estensioni
Guys, thank You a lot for your inputs. And sorry for the little misunderstanding. You are users, as me, of course. I was just little bit in a hurry and I found this email. Anyway, my question was answered and so - big thank you to all of you for that. Have a great day. Ing. Tomas Prochazka -- THEQ LABS / All Good Things -- theqlabs.cz / +420 604 643 783
Re: OpenOffice is not picking localized strings from SANE backend
On 04/09/2014 Shyam Rath wrote: I am part of a group who writes SANE Backend. We observed that, 1) OpenOffice* is not showing our localized strings*(from our .mo files) in the Scanner UI. It is always showing in English. 2) XSANE shows our localized strings correctly. The dev list is the best one for any follow-up: http://openoffice.apache.org/mailing-lists.html#development-mailing-list-public Can you clarify where you expect to see the messages? Is that in a dialog that should interact with the scanner? The main window, Insert - Picture - Scan - Select Source (this one: http://i.imgur.com/5NaPNBO.png ) is correctly localized for me in the Italian version, but those strings are all defined in the OpenOffice source code and localized as part of the ordinary OpenOffice UI, and are not the result of interacting with the backend. Where are the strings that you see in English? Regards, Andrea. - To unsubscribe, e-mail: users-unsubscr...@openoffice.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: users-h...@openoffice.apache.org
