workstation for desktop, developing, etc and server for server
applications.  i think fedora 33 would be  better than 32 for hardware
support,updates,etc.

For example, if they installed 32, but with community "Respin" build.

I am assuming the answer is Version 33, but which iso ?    Workstation ?

I was thinking of trying the latest "Respin"

You raised my hopes only to dash them.   That's not Garmin Express,
that's the GPL sources for the various devices.  Unless you're seeing
something there that I'm not.  Which tarball did you get?
___

nuvi_2585_tw-V4.50-sources.tar.bz2

That's really funny, because that's the one I looked at too, because
that's the one for my GPS.

What are you trying to do with it?  Those are the GPL sources for the
kernel, iptables, busybox, etc.  You aren't likely going to be able to
build a new firmware for the GPS and if you could it won't have the
actual interface software.

Garmin Express is the software for loading new files on the GPS.
Unfortunately, it is not open at all and doesn't run on Linux.

it may be doable with using wine on linux
