Ok. No one responded, so we can deduce that this functionality, once present, has been removed in the latest versions of Gnome and now it is no longer possible to change this timeout. To do this I guess I would have to change the desktop environment. Is KDE, or another D.E. (Which? ), able to setup this touchpad timeout?. Thanks you for reply. I don't want update(install) a new kernel, if this remove open-vm-tools (or some other driver in other case) for resolve dependencies. If I have install open-vm-tools (or other) I do not want witch someone or something uninstall it. Rather yum did not install the kernel and notify me that there is a new kernel, but can not install it. Yes, ok, I can use exclude=kernel* line command or into yum.conf, but this is not the same things: the default IMHO should be: do not remove other package when I update some software. Please, do not automatic install applications witch have MONO dependencies
I have install f14 and I discovered that because of some application (like gnome-do,gnome-desktop-sharp,ecc) you install mono. I do not want to contribute to the spread of MS-C# There is always an alternative to developing applications based on mono SO, please, do not automatic install applications witch have MONO dependencies. MONO is bad, is not totally open. Yes mono is open, but the idea behind it is not "open" It's a Trojan horse to facilitate the diffusion of applications also compatible with Windows So, please, do not automatic include applications that are dependent on it. The '+' left to "Other location" in left panel of nautilus 3.18.1 do not open the tree within mounted disk and other location. In this manner, the mounted disk are not immediately visible, must click on "other location" to see them on right panel.
