You mean using konsole?

I have no issues with the size of copy and paste in either clipboards.

Yes. kconsole. I was running it straight off of
Fedora-KDE-Live-x86_64-41-1.4.iso with no
updates installed.

I need PDF editor recommendations

2025-02-10 Thread ToddAndMargo via users

Hi All,

Fedora 41.

I have tried both PDF Studio and Master PDF Editor.

PDF Studio does not support RPM and has bad tech support

Master PDF Editor supports RPM, has responsive tech support,
although they are not real helpful at times, and has all
kinds of print problems, such as not supporting duel
sided printing (it is there but does not work, despite
their promises to fix it) and the print preview does
not match the actual print.

Only Office supports RPM and does print correctly, but
it is awkward to use and has ton of bugs.

Libre Office supports RPM but is bug city on PDF's (Draw)

You guy know of a good PDF editor that you like?

Many thanks,
-T

Hi Patrick,

Thank you for the suggestion. I would have used Evolution as my
desktop MUA, but I found this
[https://support.google.com/mail/answer/13384326]
feature in Gmail is invaluable, especially for replying to long
threads like this one.
It helps me stay organized and ensures I don't miss any crucial points.

Thanks again for your understanding.

Best,

Man, that's an old cpu. Circa 2008 or so. Hat tip for keeping it on
life support.

I have a couple of machines like that for regression testing. I don't
use them as a daily driver.

Android requires SSE4.2 + POPCNT for x86_64; and SSSE3 for x86. See
.

You probably need to ensure your cpu has the minimum Android cpu
features for Waydroid.

Filed https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2343301 . Turns out the
problem is that my CPU doesn't support SSE4.2. There are images that are
supposed to work for such CPUs but some SSE4.2 code got into the recent ones
which is why my setup stopped working. Reverting to earlier images, it works
again (until the latest images are fixed so they no longer contain SSE4.2 code).
