Re: Problem With Recordings

Thanks Alvaro, I tried what you said but it didn't work. I will try that.
It's the same for the "tomcat3" file? Where should find that? At
/etc/init.d/tomcat3

Jibsan

About Clustering

2020-07-24 Thread Jibsan Joel Rosa Toirac
Hello I'm trying to use 3 instances of OM on 3 different VM to put them on
Cluster. I was reading at the main site about that but there is something I
don't understand. I have to pick an specific IP address for the multicast
address or I can just use the one there is on the site:

sudo route add -net 224.0.0.0 netmask 240.0.0.0 dev eth0

Should I use that command for all Nodes?

Thank you,

Jibsan

Re: Time to release :)

I was hoping updating kurento-utils would help. Unfortunate it doesn't seem
so.

There is a page from kurento project around Safari in particular:
https://doc-kurento.readthedocs.io/en/6.14.0/knowledge/safari.html

Our particular issue is that you can't publish audio using Safari/iOS.
Which is a bit different from the above errors.

On the other hand there are examples of working code, including Safari, on
https://webrtc.github.io/samples/
For example a simple:

   - Choose camera, microphone and speaker

=> That example seems to works fine on Safari/iOS for publishing audio

Thanks

The audio/video testing tool actually also doesn't work for Safari.
So maybe fixing up that may help before finding out why the overall
conference room doesn't work.

I've created https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OPENMEETINGS-2412

Thanks,
Seb

Re: About Clustering

2020-07-24 Thread Maxim Solodovnik
AFAIK 224.0.0.0 is a standard multicast address (but I guess you can google
and use something else, something like 224.0.0.1)
yes you have to set up routing on all nodes (i believe documentation is
clear about it)
