试试这样：
先进入google的其他国家站点 比如：www.google.co.uk
然后再页面的顶端点击“GMAIL"就可以了。
当直接输入mail.google.com和google.com.hk都无法访问时，这种方法很管用。:)
我的是kubuntu 11.04 浏览器是google-chrome

Thunderbird 没有中间服务器。

Thunderbird 有个插件可以模仿 gmail 的 Conversational 显示。

umplayer 或 vlc 替代下也都挺好使
