[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 194489] Re: ps2 synaptics touchpad causing huge amounts of wakeups
I agree, it seems very unlikely that all laptop touchpads have hard- wired polling frequency that not even the best linus hacker could override. Is this really the case? Can we get some more explanation on the issue, and maybe some confirmation that it is the same on Windows? -- ps2 synaptics touchpad causing huge amounts of wakeups https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/194489 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-input-synaptics in ubuntu. ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 220036] Re: Multi-Pointer X Window Server
Some update - 9.10 will not include MPX due to the delayed X Server 1.7 Source: http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=NzQzNA Hopefully ppa's will be made available for Karmic so that we at least can test MPX... -- Multi-Pointer X Window Server https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/220036 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-server in ubuntu. ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 431955] Re: xorg fails with module i810 error (module does not exist
Using intel driver did remove the message but not solve the issue at least for me. It worked great before the latest updates... which makes me ask if anyone know how to restore the packages to the working versions?? What packages etc? Please don't say that we have to wait for a fix to be released which could take weeks, under which time the computer is basically useless with a ultraslooow interface... A restore routine would make it possible to use the computer and testing other stuff while waiting for a fix at least... (Hopefully someday we can have a feature like this: http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com/idea/628/ making this kind of restore easy) -- xorg fails with module i810 error (module does not exist https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/431955 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in ubuntu. ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 413296] Re: Nvidia binary driver won't build with 2.6.31-rt kernel
Has anyone gotten a stable system yet? When _anyone_ with nvidia graphics can, say, use "Mixxx" which requires accelerated graphics and performs best with JACK in realtime mode, progress is made... But is that reality yet? Using the latest rt and 185 nvidia drivers from karmic repos and still no-go with stable graphics...
