[Bug 664681] [NEW] package bacula-director-mysql 5.0.1-1ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

2010-10-21 Thread Ted Kokenos
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: bacula

I was installing from Ubuntu 10.04 package installer. I got an error,
something about MySQL setup. I have previously installed MySQL, so I do
not understand what the problem could have been.

Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
- the Lucid Lynx - released in April 2010 and supported until
April 2013.

I expected it to install but it did not. I do not know enough about
what it was trying to do, when it crashed, to be of much more help to
you.

Somehow, this problem got resolved because it seemed to install when I
tried again.

I couldn't duplicate the situation again if I tried a thousand times.
