Not really sure I understand the symptoms you are experiencing. First of all I assume you are accessing /munin/ by http://localhost/munin/? Based on the default configuration in /etc/munin/apache.conf (symlinked from /etc/apache2/conf.d/munin) it shouldn't be accessible at all from a remote host. Secondly I have a hard time seeing how "Options Indexes" should do any difference, as munin webpage is an actual index.html file, no a directory index. Might the explaination be that when you first, before modifying your apache configuration, there hadn't yet been a index.html generated inside the /var/cache/munin/www/? Could there be something which I have misunderstood? I would like to submit a Karmic SRU for this bug. This regression has been fixed upstream and has made its way in Lucid. The patch I'm applying in this Karmic SRU is a minimal backport made by Chuck Short , and tested from his PPA. It seems more than unlikely that someone would actively depend on a configuration where a segfault is the desired result. I'll see if I can recreate the scenario going back to dapper. Regarding getting the same problem on Hardy by simpling installing and removing apache2.2-common; have you actually tried it? I have, and I wrote about it in my first comment. Well, I guess there still might be the possibility of lograte rotating away the existing logs, and leaving /var/log/apache2 empty. Seems as if the Dapper apache2-common does create/touch the files /var/log/apache2/{error,access}.log. I've also taken a closer look at the apache2 logrotate. [Bug 307773] Re: apparmor profile in hardy inhibits replication slave
There is a bug here somewhere, just not the obvious one :) Actually apparmor handles mysql replication without any trouble on a fresh hardy install. The problem arises from the fact that the default relay-log changes from gutsy to hardy. In gutsy it is /var/run/mysqld-relay-bin.* while hardy uses /var/run/mysqld-relay-bin.*. By the way, how did you manage to upgrade your mysql-slave from gutsy to hardy without breaking (except the apparmor part) its replication? I used do-release-upgrade and it somehow managed to sabotage my relay- bin:s in different ways, depending on whatever I kept a relay-log= in my my.cnf or not. If you don't object I'll mark this bug as invalid, as it really isn't a problem with the apparmor profiles in Hardy. Instead I believe we should create a new bug, dealing with the issues of upgrading a mysql-slave from Gutsy to Hardy. ** Changed in: mysql-dfsg-5.0 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- apparmor profile in hardy inhibits replication slave https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/307773 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to mysql-dfsg-5.0 in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 296952] Re: mysqlhotcopy failed on table with hyphen in name
In short, this is what has been happening to mysqlhotcopy. (Please correct me if I'm wrong. It's late and I'm tired.) DBD::mysql changed the behavior of $dbh->tables(), causing mysqlhotcopy to break. This was kind of handled by the $hc_locks-patch in 56 -mysqlhotcopy-invalid-dbtable.dpatch Later mysqlhotcopy was fixed more properly by replacing $dbh->tables() with a direct ""SHOW TABLES FROM `db`". Our problem is that we still apply 56-mysqlhotcopy-invalid- dbtable.dpatch, causing problem instead of fixing problems. [Bug 323755] [NEW] non-trivial building mysql source package, build test keeps failing, (open)ssl related
Public bug reported: For some reasons it seems if not impossible then atleast non-trivial to build binary packages from the source provided by mysql-dfsg-5.0 in Hardy (5.0 5.0.51a-3ubuntu5.4), Intrepid (5.0.67-0ubuntu6) and Jaunty (5.1.30really5.0.75-0ubuntu3). While I believe I have a memory of actually succeeding somewhat recently it has been completely impossible these resent days when I have looked closer at it. No matter if I try to use debuild och pbuilder the I always get the same failure during the build test. -- Failed 7/494 tests, 98.58% were successful. [Bug 296952] Re: mysqlhotcopy failed on table with hyphen in name
Understood that patches should foremost be submitted to the development release of Ubuntu. Hence, here is a debdiff to Jaunty. [Bug 323918] Re: php5 crashed with SIGSEGV in curl_global_cleanup()
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we can't fix it because your description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem. We have instructions on debugging some types of problems at http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures At a minimum, we need: 1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem, 2. the behavior you expected, and 3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible). Thanks! ** Changed in: php5 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- php5 crashed with SIGSEGV in curl_global_cleanup() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/323918 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to php5 in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
