[Bug 616064] Re: Broken networking in kvm guests

2011-12-21 Thread Anthony O.
Here is what I done in my client :

user@host:~$ cat /dev/urandom | hexdump | head -c 1048576 > /tmp/1MB.txt
user@host:~$ N=1; while [ 1 ]; do echo $N | nc 192.168.1.214 8080; cat
/tmp/1MB.txt | nc 192.168.1.214 8080; ((N += 1)); sleep 0.5s; done

No problem here, in terminal 1 all was displayed without blockings.

Do you want me to test another mechanism ?

2011-12-21 Thread Micah Gersten
This is due to this bug in Debian: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=650541

Apparently a private symbol somehow was exported and ended up breaking
upgrades to the new krb5, so this breaks was added.

[Bug 616064] Re: Broken networking in kvm guests

2011-12-21 Thread Anthony O.
To reproduce the use case, I need that nc "serves" big files from the
server and that it would be my client which would download the 1MB
file... but I don't manage to use nc correctly to do that.

[Bug 531599] Re: device mappings for partitions not removed after build using --raw, leading to filesystem corruption

2011-12-21 Thread Louis Bouchard
I have been able to test a potential fix for this problem. The unmap()
function is responsible for tearing apart the device maps created by the
kpartx commands. Those are created by the map_partitions() function.

While tearing down the device maps created by the parted command, which
is invoked in the partition() function might be better done by a
callback in the partition() function, the patch is simpler by adding to
the existing unmap() which is a callback from map_partition, which is
invoked sequentially after partition() in hypervisor.py.

Please let me know if the patch in the proposed branch is unacceptable.

[Bug 903752] Re: [MIR] sssd

2011-12-21 Thread Matthias Klose
we just did avoid promoting libev, having libevent already in main.
libverto in main does provide an abstraction layer for all these event
libraries. please check to use either libverto, or libevent directly.

[Bug 903752] Re: [MIR] sssd

2011-12-21 Thread Jelmer Vernooij
libverto or libevent don't provide integration for talloc, which is one
of the key features of libtevent.

At the very least you would need a wrapper layer in libldb and sssd
around libevent or libverto.

Samba 4/OpenChange/Evolution-mapi (in universe) also rely on tevent and
the fact that libldb uses it. They would have to be patched to use the
same event library libldb uses or compiled against a fork of libldb
without the patch.

[Bug 839390] Re: Apache+Kerberos not working anymore since update today

2011-12-21 Thread Peter Matulis
@Michael

You mentioned SSL. How does that fit in here?

You can add bug data from an afflicted, internet-connected, system by
running this:

$ apport-collect 839390

Otherwise, there are ways to save bug data to file, transfer it to
another machine, and then upload it to this bug.

[Bug 907620] [NEW] package slapd 2.4.21-0ubuntu5.6 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

2011-12-21 Thread Rick Retterer
Public bug reported:

Description:Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS
Release:10.04

I'm trying to get LDAP installed to test a problem that I'm having with

the configuration. So, I removed the software using apt-get remove

However upon attempting to reinstall, I get an error:
