[Ubuntu-manual] u-manual at UDS

2012-04-22 Thread Joel Pickett
Hi,

I've just been flicking through the blueprints for u-m and got myself
thinking if anyone would be interested in holding a session at UDS? -
in reference to progress, release schedule, new contributor drive and
the future roadmap in general.

I'm attending physically but since I haven't been part of the team and
don't really know the internal workflow (yet), I'd prefer someone else
to direct unless no one else responds...

Hi all,

The Ubuntu-Manual session has been accepted for UDS. It is on
2012-05-09 11:00..11:55 in Grand Ballroom H.

They slightly changed the title and thus created a new pad. Please add
your ideas to the new pad:

Hi Hannie,

It looks like they have been deleted, unfortunately. The proposal had
been altered slightly (the name) and it looks like the old one has
been cleared. I can't even access the old pad!

having a test bed available might be beneficial to try new things.

Well it just depends on how much we can rely on our editors and the public
draft window as to picking up errors. I agree though that 2nd editions
would be less likely to apply to non-LTS versions of Ubuntu.

[Ubuntu-manual] u-manual at UDS-R - physical participation?

Hi all,

Just wondering if there's anyone physically attending the Ubuntu Developer
Summit in Copenhagen. I held a session for the Ubuntu Manual at UDS-Q and
while it was helpful, I'd rather only do it if there will be others
physically there.
