Hello and welcome to another opportunity to show our commitment to open source!

As promised, I am asking you (yes, all of you) to post what you have
done to help the open source community - in ANY WAY possible! We'll be
posting YOUR news in the detailed long version of the monthly
report (PDF) - we can pretty much place any activity you may have done
during this past month.

On to the critical parts:
- What is considered as a contribution?
Anything you may have done that includes (or is) open source, real-life or not!
Simple real-life things do matter, like "I persuaded and invited 5
people to attend *this* open-source event", or "I presented and
installed ubuntu to two friends of mine".
Surely I bet that the whole team would love to hear about your
personal accomplishments!

Just reply here and I'll gather them properly!

- Rules? We rule!! :-)

Re: 3rd Ubuntu/Fedora Release Party

2009-05-01 Thread Theodotos Andreou
The problem is that May is an Exam period for almost every student in
Cyprus and June is too far from the release. If there is an interest
from the overseas students we could organise a seminar in Summer time.

It would have been nice to have waited for more overseas studying

seems as though my calling was not heard in previous emails. Never the
less I'm not pointing any fingers,* it is the user's prerogative to
open their mouth and express themselves that would have enjoyed
participating and requesting a wait*. I'm annoyed with the fact that
*nobody else opened their mouth*. I am sure that there are more
students abroad studying that participate here.

Enjoy the party, hope to catch the next one.
