We could arrange a meeting after the Release party on 2nd of May.

Can we push it further so the students from here can come back to
Cyprus ? Like me for example , most students both undergraduates and
post grads will be done with exams and stuff by first week of may ,
would be nice to have something going around mid may , just a
consideration.

As it is now, just about every page under

quite a load. :)

OK that's better. And we could pick up signature for registering the
Community as a non profit org for those interested to participate. So I
am asking the currently abroad, students and not, when it is a proper
time for such a meeting?

Don't mind me, if you need an extra signature, I will send it by fax.
I won't be available for a while, I'm having some hard time renewing
my passports.

Flags

2009-04-02 Thread Mario Spinthiras
Dear all,

I suggest a more subtle approach to the flags in the loco wiki page. Due to
the past political "crap" (excuse my french) between surrounding countries
and other factors, I would suggest the translation and integration with more
Turkish Cypriot members to happen in a more well thought process. This
includes consideration as to what is really the representation of Cyprus to
the ubuntu community.

The flags could cause a stir. I would suggest simple text AND a reason as to
why we would like to have the page in Turkish also.

Do note that your feedback is more than welcome in constructive approaches.

Regards,
Maz.

P.S. You can edit the wiki pages directly if you want to. :)
You need a Launchpad account:
