@ Jori Gel: Uninstalling the package using either: sudo apt-get remove citadel-suite sudo apt-get purge citadel-suite It leave some config files behind. You will have to use the command: whereis citadel To find the left overs, I had couple of config files left in /etc that I had to go and delete manually in order to do a fresh install. Otherwise, as you mention, it will use those config files and bypass the first step in the configuration process that it is to collect pertinent information. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/911732 Title: [12.04] citadel-server is producing errors every second in syslog (DB: not a restored transaction DB: PANIC: Invalid argument citadel: bdb(): PANIC: Invalid argument citadel: bdb(): txn_commit: DB_RUNRECOVERY: Fatal error, run database recover) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/citadel/+bug/911732/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Ubuntu has follen several places in the DistroWatch.com this should be a red flag for the Ubuntu community. Hi Joseph. The advice provided to install http://kernel.ubuntu.com /~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.6-rc3-quantal/ doesn't seem to be a stable release but a candidate release which would indicate it is in beta release or perhaps in alpha release. [Bug 713480] Re: Atheros AR5001: Wireless connection is not working any longer
A patch has been released for this issue and fixed the Atheros being disabled automatically. Along with the new pathc a new bug seeims to be introduced. When I turn off the wireless using the hardware it doesn't come back on when the hardware is turned back on. In order to get the the wireless back on rfkill unblock all It seem that Canonical is not so worry about getting a good product any more. With the lates releases of Ubuntu since 10.10 it seems the operating system is getting worst and worst. So, here is a good question for Canonical team: are you planning to drive everyone back to Windows Libre Office is really bad and many of the app that run in Linux are being ported to Windows, so what is the adventage that Linux is bringing to the table I will pay the $80 to get a stable operating system in stead of being deling with halfway done products. Are getting any updates about this bug? I have installed Ubuntu latest release from scratch and I am standing correct about my previous post, the bug for the Atheros chip set hasn't been fixed neither has been assigned. Can some one provide me with an ETA for the bug fix? I am understand it will not be a simple fix as they code probably has several lines. I really like this distro but it seems I am being force to find one that works with my wireless chip set.
