2007-10-04 Thread tama
Public bug reported:

You can't use this card at all. You can't find / load driver for this
card...

I have used this card already since Dapper and it worked fine...
So the problem is all in Gutsy...

[Bug 205611] [NEW] display resolution is useless (too large)

2008-03-23 Thread tama
Public bug reported:

Since alpha 4 the display resolution has been huge ..
Only one letter in a screen... so you can't use/ do anything...
=> I'am still using alpha 3...

(I have asus ax550 card and acer al1923 display)

This reporting system you are using is so difficult,
that I understand why anyone else has not reported anything...

You should do something to both of these issues...

(I have last tested Hardy Beta and I can't install it...)

[Bug 208784] Re: dump core after resume from suspend

2008-04-05 Thread tama
I've got this same crash. To me it still happens with 1:2.4.0-1ubuntu2
:(

It seems to be fixed upstream in 2.4.1 anyway.
Will that be included in hardy?

Look here:

[Bug 211769] Re: FFe for Pidgin 2.4.1

2008-04-07 Thread tama
It would fix #208784, crash when resuming from suspend.
I hope 2.4.1 makes it!

[Bug 1140027] [NEW] 70% of boots will not even start low-graphics mode due to "Xorg crashed with SIGABRT in raise()"

2013-03-02 Thread Tama McGlinn
Public bug reported:

After reinstalling Ubuntu, most of the time, the ubuntu desktop won't
start up. It says the graphics driver was not configured properly and
I'll have to do this myself. There are various options but none of them
save console login actually works.

Other times, everything works fine. The only thing that disturbs me is
the bug report window which pops up several times for the same problem.

I'm now trying this fix:
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
