[Bug 200235] Re: [MASTER] In Hardy plugins do not install for Firefox 3 only present in firefox-2 profile
Gnash was working in my system, although flashplugin-alternative.so was located in /usr/lib/firefox/plugins/ only. Sound worked fine, wowever the videos were always black. After installing gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg, this was fixed. [Bug 1625477] [NEW] Xorg freezes on simultaneous touchscreen and mouse input
Public bug reported: Whenever I operate a mouse and simultaneously use the touchscreen, the whole user interface freezes: - no mouse operation possible - no keyboard operation - video playback halts - fan goes up The duration of this freeze seems to be related to the amount of input, I'm generating simultaneously with the touchscreen and the mouse. After a few seconds: - mouse operates normally again - all missing keyboard input is showing up immediately wherever I had the focus - video skips the frozen seconds and continues - fan returns to normal operation It doesn't matter whether I use a bluetooth mouse or the touchpad. Note that this does not happen when simultaneously operating mouse and touchpad. It seems to me that xorg is running into some kind of loop, possibly trying to make sense of contradictory input from mouse/touchpad and touchscreen. Yes, this is an unlikely situation, but it happens most of the time when someone else is trying to show me something on the screen and accidentally touches it, while I'm doing something with the mouse. [Bug 1461174] Re: Realtek Wifi card rtl8723be [10ec:b723] WiFi has an issue
@petzke I've tried all different driver options on my Yoga 2 13. Although wifi stability improved, I was never able to achieve fully reliable connection at all times. I've switched to an Intel ac wifi card recently, and wifi is much better now (although still not 100% reliable, but that's another driver's problem). I had problems with suspend-to-ram too, but the situation has improved: I'd praise kernel updates for this improvement. But regretfully I can't say, whether changing the wifi card might have something to do with it. Hope this helps. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1461174 Title: Realtek Wifi card rtl8723be [10ec:b723] WiFi has an issue To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hwe-next/+bug/1461174/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
