hey man I went here https://wiki.blue-it.org/Thinkpad_R31 and added kernel parameters to my menu.list ro quiet i8042.nomux=1 irqpoll acpi_no_auto_ssdt acpi_sleep=s3_bios which don't give me suspend but i can have screen blanking. If I don't have them i don't have akeyboard when the screen comes back up. i am not able to connect to a wpa2 peap mschapv2 network. i am running jaunty 2.6.28-11 with an ar5212 pcmcia card. with wicd. i have tried wpa_supplicant with ndiswrapper, madwifi and ath5k drivers.
