Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.22

Hello,

in the package linux-source-2.6.22 version 2.6.22-14-46 (gutsy) is the module
apparmor missing.
So I cannot compile a kernel with apparmor.

Best regards, Mathias

[Bug 511520] [NEW] Ubuntu Karmic: DVI output not working with radeon 4350

2010-01-23 Thread mschaeffler
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-ati

xserver-xorg-video-radeon

With the official driver package I do not bet any output on the DVI
header, the VGA header is working fine.

With the driver from the PPA (xserver-xorg-video-
radeon_6.12.99+git20091125.0061c4db-0ubuntu0tormod2_amd64.deb) the
output is working as expected.

Is it possible to upgrade the offical package?

The package linux-image-2.6.31-11-virtual (2.6.31-11.38) seems to be built

- It is named "2.6.31-11-generic-pae", not "2.6.31-11-server".

[Bug 1240628] [NEW] Update-Notifier does not consider auto-launch config option

2013-10-16 Thread mschaeffler
Public bug reported:

Update-Notifier does not consider auto-launch config option, but always
directly starts the update-manager.
This is really annoying, because
 1. The update manager is only visible in the overview of gnome shell but while
working there is no sign that updates are available.
 2. I do not use the update-manager but apt-get dist-upgrade, becazuse the
update-manager always sets all updated packages to manually installed!
