[Bug 46217] Re: totem-gstreamer-firefox-plugin gives an error in a page

2006-12-22 Thread lek
Dear all,

I have the same prob with Totem.

"...I visited www.dmc.tv then clicked on Live Broadcast
I could not see the video streaming"

First problem is error message which nothing has show up at all.

Later on I did not know how I did ; I could hear the audio but not
video.

Any solution yet?

Thank you very much in advance

[Bug 1602256] Re: sometimes "systemd-coredump[]: Coredump file descriptor missing." is seen, upstream #2984

2016-07-12 Thread LeK
Unfortunately the fix did not help.

Output in the journal now has an extra line about creating a slice.

:~$ sudo journalctl --file /run/log/journal//system.journal

Jul 13 02:29:08 COBPTTDev kernel: asterisk[1570]: segfault at 300028 ip

Jul 13 02:29:08 COBPTTDev systemd[1]: Created slice

Jul 13 02:29:08 COBPTTDev systemd[1]: Started Process Core Dump (PID 1607/UID
0).
Jul 13 02:29:08 COBPTTDev systemd-coredump[1608]: Coredump file descriptor
missing.

Likewise the coredump list is empty
:~$ sudo coredumpctl list /usr/sbin/asterisk
No coredumps found.

(asterisk is the Ubuntu package in Xenial)

[Bug 872220] Re: Fails to boot when there's problems with softraid

2014-01-09 Thread Lek
Had som "holiday-fun" with my debian-server and installed the Trusty14.04 alfa
(is qurious about the clouds).
Sadly the same bug bit me, albeit on some old lazy 250G disks. my OCZ
revodriveX2 is apparently still fast enough to not lose out in this
racecondition.
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mdadm/+bug/872220, 917520 seems
related,
found som excellent reading on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReliableRaid which sadly
is four years old.
Reinstalld debian 6 just to try and it has not the same behaviour = softraid on
the same disks works.

My earlier experiences of RAID quirks is limited to SCSI and "real"
RAID-adapters so this was a chanse to read up on some good
documentation. And see again that "when you fix what isn't broken you
get a lot of "new" work".

Yes I'm old ;)

Sad to say the installer still hangs in daily build 1-feb. Only one ext4
partition no swap.
