[Bug 1615476] [NEW] Install Medusa on Ubuntu 16 no ssh.mod

2016-08-21 Thread k4nz4k1g4w4
Public bug reported:

Hi

I installed Medusa v2.2_rc3 on lubuntu 16 via apt-get today and there is
no ssh.mod.

Is there a way to get it without installing from source?

Thanks

[Bug 1615476] Re: Install Medusa on Ubuntu 16 no ssh.mod

2016-08-24 Thread k4nz4k1g4w4
Thanks for the reply.

2.2 doesn't seem to be available for Ubuntu yet, so I'm going to try it
out on Kali (which is what I should have done in the first place!)

I also tried installing from source but the ssh mod didn't get enabled,
and rather than waste any more time trying to fix the deps, I'll try
Kali.

@ varun

try this:

sudo cp /path/to/file /usr/src/

and put in some serious study time if you're serious about ubuntu/linux
