[Bug 580735] [NEW] Clock Applet crashes for no reason
Public bug reported: At random times of the day, the clock-applet will stop working. I won't know until I check the time and notice that it is incorrect based on another time source (i.e. phone, laptop, etc..) Running TOP I find a zombie process. I kill the zombie process and an error will pop up with the message "CLOCK" has quit unexpectedly and give me two options, close or reload the applet. I can reload, and the applet will start up again, but at a random time, will stop and create the zombie process again. I I choose to close the error, the clock-applet no longer displays on my panel. I can through the "ADD TO PANEL" dialog add the clock back to the panel and it will start, but within a random amount of time will stop again. Ubuntu Version: 10.04 LTS What is expected to happen: Clock applet should run without a problem. What happens instead: Clock applet stops working after a random period of time and a reload is required. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Clock Applet crashes for no reason https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/580735 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 580735] Re: Clock Applet crashes for no reason
Unfortunately I will not be able to do the backtrace. A few weeks ago I was having some issues with the Ubuntu and video that was a real show stopper. Could not do any work, or get anything done. So I had to re- install Ubuntu. This is no longer an issue for me. -- Clock Applet crashes for no reason https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/580735 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 759699] Re: Gstreamer encountered a general stream error
Seems that whatever was done Pithos is working fine. Thanks for getting this fixed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/759699 Title: Gstreamer encountered a general stream error -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 759699] Re: Gstreamer encountered a general stream error
I just downloaded Pithos, I listen to Pandora quite a lot so I really appreciate this program. However; I am having this same issue. After playing a few songs, I get a pop up in Ubuntu 11.04 with this same error. I click retry and Pithos will play the next couple songs, then I see a message next to the song timer, after the song has stopped that is the same error. Oddity: When I closed down Pithos and attempted to restart it (Closing using the Icon on the panel), it rebooted my desktop and I had to login again.
[Bug 660458] Re: vmware-server-console does not start
Wanted to add that I am having the same issue. Was running "Clearlooks" as well. I Changed to Gorilla, Lush, and Nodoka and am still having this problem. [Bug 660458] Re: vmware-server-console does not start
Thought I would add a quick update. Downloaded and installed VMware Server Console 1.0.10 and tried it, getting the same error. Downloaded and installed version 1.0.9 and 1.0.6 and still getting the same error message. Which is very odd, because prior to upgrading from 10.04 to 10.10 VMware Console 1.0.6 was installed and running fine. -- vmware-server-console does not start https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/660458 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
