[Bug 109701] Re: Package request for Truecrypt
llivne, i think the main problem is the different crypto-algorithms being used, though i may be mistaken. From that summary of the license it seems to agree with the 10 terms of the OSI Open-Source definition so that shouldnt be a problem. The problem will be the crypto-algorithms. Im willing to bet some of them aren't properly open-source and some of their licenses are incompatible. -- Package request for Truecrypt https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/109701 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 146994] Zim Crashes When Accessing Repos In Read-Only Directory
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: zim Zim (Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Package) stalls then crashes when you try to access a Repository situated in a Read Only directory. First of all it creates two Error messages: 1) Page Does Not Exist: :Home 2) Can't call method "name" on an undefined value at /usr/share/perl5/Zim/GUI/TreeView.pm line 257. After accepting these two warnings the program simply exits itself. ** Affects: zim (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Zim Crashes When Accessing Repos In Read-Only Directory https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/146994 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 146996] Zim Should Warn When Creating A Repos In Read Only Directory
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: zim Zim should warn people when they are trying to create a Repository in a read only directory. This leads to the crash described in bug #146994. Had a go at packaging it. I know it wont be up to MOTU standards but its a starting block. Latest (29 September 2007) release 0.2.5 i386 package. [Bug 109701] Package request for Truecrypt
Public bug reported: Truecrypt is an extremely useful tool for any security conscious Ubuntu User. It allows you to create an extremely secure "virtual drive" where you can store important documents with a much lower risk of them being read by malicious attackers. It should be included in Ubuntu because it will greatly improve security, which means a higher reputation for the distribution. ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed ** Tags: needs-packaging -- Package request for Truecrypt https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/109701 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 109710] Unclosable gAIM Window
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gaim Running gAIM 2.0.0 beta 6 on Ubuntu 7.04 (Upgrade from 6.10) with Beryl 0.2.1. Minimized a gAIM window (either main contacts window or a chat window) to a title bar (double click on the title bar), then closed the process. Now there is a small grey/white box the same shape and size of the deleted title bar, that will not respond to anything, but the resize window cursors show up when mousing over the edges of the box. The gAIM icon still appears in the top right hand corner and when i double click on it a gAIM contacts list appears very briefly then disappears again, still leaving the Icon in the corner. ** Affects: gaim (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Unclosable gAIM Window https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/109710 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
