[Bug 567069] [NEW] Volume is low even when setting volume to 100% with USB headset
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-media When setting the volume to 100%, the sound still stays to low to hear anything. I Have to run AlsaMixer through the console and set the volume there for it to have effect on my headset, it appears that the volume set in gnome-volume-control is multiplied with the level set in AlsaMixer? It should not be nessessary to start a console application to get correct sound on a -- plug and play -- USB headset. Note that the sound using normal speakers/jack is normal. The latest crash today came when i was asking for code completion pop-up to appear for a class i was working on. I have not found any logs or anything that gives any information about these crashes, so please give me some tips for logs you want me to check. [Bug 771724] Re: Selecting "Change Desktop Background" causes extreme flickering
I have upgraded to natty now and that caused X to hang as soon as it started. After setting up the x-conf again everything worked like a charm again. So it can have been related to some glitches there. So far i have not been able to reproduce this errror :) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/771724 Title: Selecting "Change Desktop Background" causes extreme flickering -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
