[Bug 1310976] [NEW] LTS 14.04 after change desktop - cant control system
Public bug reported: I start gnome-panel under UBUNTU 14.04 LTS. I have 4 desktops. When I click by mouse any desktop on gnome-panel, new desktop appear but whole overlay of system goes to background -> on small 2x2 panel icon I can see open apps, but all desktops where empty. Also when I click any icon it doesn to anything. SUPER+S works - I can change desktops, but I didnt see any previous open application //and cant do nothing in X. CTRL+ALT+Backspace also doesnt work. Only way how to solve that problem is go to terminal and restart system. Im using linux since 1998 asshole ! After using GNOME PANEL all desktops are empty and all desktops are "glass desks". Hi,.. reinstalled back to 10.10... that works quiet good.. just microphone, hybernation and switching of dual graphic doesnt work.. Hi, I solve all problems by simply way - on Fujitsu Siemens desktop i have UBUNTU 10.10 and wont update anything anymore - no need. On notebook ACER 5553G I had installed SUSE 12.1 - All works immidiatelly 100% no bug with microphone, camera & other bullshits.. Also easy way how to switch from crazzy unuseful UNITY to Standard one (multidesktop w gnome-panel&&&).. As I reading reactions of users, I'm not only one who do that... PS: I had start using Linux in year 1998... an UBNTU I'm using since 8.04. Unity kills all also things like FORBIDEN runs .exe w/o permision, where is LINUX user freedom ? Public bug reported: To rename a file you need use RMB.. usual and logic way was always click-click than it can be renamed.. Anybody who ever use F.Windows know that simple thing. If you use DRAG&DROP and you realize you don't want it, than you pres ESC and dra&drop where canceled. in UBUNTU it doesnt work. Simply you must finish it.
