[Bug 1215397] Re: [FFe] Freeze exception for converged scope packages
Yes. I moved those packages to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source /unity-scope-home/+bug/1215397. ** Description changed: Scopes for 13.10 desktop are feature complete as of now, but work for touch images (Unity8 dash/scopes) is still ongoing. In particular the designs around the (phone) home, music and video scope are still evolving. Since we have the scope infrastructure and scopes itself fully converged it means that any code changes done for phone will also affect the desktop code base. However, we strongly assume that those changes only affecting code path executed on phone but not on desktop. So, this FFe is more about landing phone driven code in converged code base rather than adding new features to 13.10 desktop scopes. The package affected is unity-scope-home which contains, among others, the implementation of home, music and video scope. However, some changes (depending on upcoming designs) might also affect unity and libunity as those packages contain e.g. the filtering code which is slightly different on desktop and phone. Again, we do not intent to change any desktop code there. - - In addition, there are two more packages that need an FFe, mediascanner - and unity-scope-mediascanner. Those two packages are only relevant for - Ubuntu Touch. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1215397 Title: [FFe] Freeze exception for converged scope packages To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity-scope-home/+bug/1215397/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1215980] [NEW] [FFe] Freeze exception for converged indicators
Public bug reported: All indicators on phone, except the networking, are fully converged meaning they share the same backend with desktop indicators. [Bug 1362553] [NEW] wifi popup in phone setup wizard stays even when leaving the page
Public bug reported: Run the phone setup wizard. When reaching the wifi page click on an AP. Then the connection popup appears as expected, but UI wise you can now activate four buttons, that is "Cancel" and "Connect" from the popup and "Back" and "Continue" from the wizard page as the popup is not modal. The latter might be fine (or maybe this is the actual bug, design to decide) but then the popup should still go away when leaving the wizard page either by clicking "Back" or "Continue". [Bug 1419829] Re: [Scope] location settings are enabled by default
Possible fix would be to add a page to phone setup wizard asking users whether they allow, by default, scope to access location data or not. That setting will also be available via Settings|Privacy. Then, we'd change the individual scope location settings to provide two states, system|off ("system" being default). [Bug 1378678] [NEW] app updates apparently don't work when system update is available
Public bug reported: See attached screenshot: when having a system update available and some app updates then updating any app does not have any effect, meaning no download or installation starts for no apparent reason (there is also no feedback, the progress bar is shown but remains all the time at 0).
