[Bug 172353] Re: Non-translatable emblem names.

2008-07-02 Thread Sergio Zanchetta
Ok, I think that Maurizio and I probably found out where the bug is.

1) emblems translated strings are in gnome-icon-theme.
2) with human-icon-theme these strings remain untranslated.
3) installing tango-icon-theme, strings are correctly translated indipendently
from which set of icons is selected, and emblem icons are the tango one.

so, probably human-icon-theme doesn't point to gnome-icon-theme strings
correctly.

Not a nautilus bug, I change it with human-icon-theme

[Bug 304857] [NEW] Please sync photoprint 0.3.9 from Debian experimental

2008-12-03 Thread Sergio Zanchetta
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: photoprint

Please sync photoprint 0.3.9 from Debian experimental.

Here are improvements from version 0.3.8:

* Fixed a bug where vertical offsets and cropping were ignored when images
are downsampled.
* Hopefully fixed custom page size bug for borderless mode
* Fixed a resolution bug in the TIFF loader - a decimal point in the wrong
place!
* Hopefully fixed a papersize bug which afflicted papersizes not normally
known to Gutenprint, but specified within a PPD file.
* ProfileManager can now use the LCMS inbuilt sRGB profile.
* Added physical size and resolution information to the ImageInfo widget.
* Fixed a bug with high-res previews and rotation.
* Effects are now copied when duplicating images.

Re: [Bug 206860] Re: Floppy drive label icon changes to "1, 5 GB Media" and don't go back to "Floppy Drive" anymore

2009-06-17 Thread Sergio Zanchetta
@Ivanka

Could you explain it better, please?
Why can't you address it as part of this project?

Because it's not a small issue?
Because it doesn't affect many people?
Because it's not quick and easy to fix?

I think it fits all these requirements.

2009-06-18 Thread Sergio Zanchetta
@Sebastien
Do you mean it can't be addressed because it's not quick and easy to fix?

You could answer to my question directly instead of this reply ;-)

I only asked for a clarification in order to understand how to behave
in the future reporting bugs in this project.

Ciao. :-)

[Bug 352765] Re: webcam and v4l2

2009-07-06 Thread Sergio Zanchetta
Sorry, the upstream bug was closed because it's a problem of applications not
supporting v4l2 yet.
On the other hand it could be fixed introducing a sort of external GSPCA as it
was in Hardy, waiting for applications like cheese, camorama etc. implementing
v4l2 (avoiding the regression).

[Bug 132050] Re: No sound from speakers on STAC92XX

2009-05-04 Thread Sergio Zanchetta
The 18 month support period for Gutsy Gibbon 7.10 has reached its end of life -
http://www.ubuntu.com/news/ubuntu-7.10-eol . As a result, we are closing the
linux-source-2.6.22 kernel task. It would be helpful if you could test the
new Jaunty Jackalope 9.04 release and confirm if this issue remains -
http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/releasenotes/904overview. If the issue still
exists with the Jaunty
release, please update this report by changing the Status of the "linux

which will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this

[Bug 334345] [NEW] H3G Italy APN needs to be updated.

2009-02-25 Thread Sergio Zanchetta
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: mobile-broadband-provider-info

H3G Italy provider in network-manager->mobile broadband shows 3
different contract type, each one with a different APN.

Now, according to http://areaclienti.tre.it/ac3_pages/15822_ITA_HTML.htm
, there are just 2 APN working for this provider and one of them
(datacard.tre.it) is not present in the current mobile-broadband-
provider-info package.

So this needs to be updated.

[Bug 367797] [NEW] Cloned form text is present but doesn't appear in multiple pages.

2009-04-27 Thread Sergio Zanchetta
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evince

Step to reproduce.
1) Open pdf file I attached. (it has 3 pages, with cloned forms, once you
compile first page, others are filled in automatically)
2) Compile some forms on the first page.

Actual results:
The cloned form texts on second and third page are not visible (and not
printable) but present into the form (if you click on it you can see the text)

Expected results:
Cloned forms should be visible and printable.

It works correctly using Acrobat Reader 8.1.4
