Dear. everyone.

I purchase CHUWI gemibook pro( Intel J4125 CPU ) Note PC.
I install ubuntu-20.04.1, install Japanese and fcitx-mozc.
I want to use switching English and Japanese environment
using R-alt and L-alt key by en-keyboard.

but Ubuntu 20.04.1 startup time, sometimes, crash report
has made, I send report, and now write bug report.

I purchased CHWUI gemibook pro ( Intel J4125 CPU ).
and I install ubuntu-20.04.1. maybe work fine.

gemibook pro has microSD slot.
I attached 128GB microSD to gemibook microSD slot.

I use command fdisk -l, fdisk /dev/mmcblk2 etc.
but sometime work, sometime do not work.

this 128GB microSD is able to read/write other notePC.
I want to understand that this problem HW or SW,
so I send bug report.

this pc also additional install fcitx-mozc using apt command.

I think that ubuntu-20.04.1 default is iBus-mozc,
and I add to install Fcitx-mozc, it is fail.

I reinstall ubuntu-20.04.1, japanese, xcape.
then I switch English and Japanese environment
using R-alt and L-alt key by en-keyboard.

  and I install ubuntu-20.04.1. maybe work fine.
  
  gemibook pro has microSD slot.
  I attached 128GB microSD to gemibook microSD slot.
  
  I use command fdisk -l, fdisk /dev/mmcblk2 etc.
  but sometime work, sometime do not work.
  
  this 128GB microSD is able to read/write other notePC.
  I want to understand that this problem HW or SW,

use software-updater, and update normal.
but PC shutdown could not power-off(I force power-off by switch)

Today I update UEFI model PC using CSM, restored backup from 2019-03-02.
use software-updater, and update normal.
and PC shutdown problem occur again.

I force power-off/power-on by switch, and I select kernel
4.15.0-46-generic to 4.15.0-45-generic, so boot up normal.
then I check syslog file, a lot of ureadahead[264] messages
in two seconds.

kenel update to 4.15.0-47-generic.

my ubuntu environment shutdown/power-on trouble cleared.

Dear everyone.

I useed gufw at ubuntu-18.04.1
My rules ware incoming deny and outgoing deny,
and add rules that outgoing allow port 53, 80, 443 etc.
I thinked that gufw work fine.

I exported firewall rules at file menu export rules.
and I eraseed all firewall rules.
then I import firewall rules that is exported profile.
but gufw could not import firewall rules.

I gave up to use gufw, and I will use ufw at command line.

Dear everyone.

I have a jumper EZbook3 pro note pc, and I installed ubuntu-18.04.1.
I think ubuntu-18.04.1 about work fine, but touchpad could not click.
My jumper environment ubuntu18.04.1 and windows10home multiboot
to use rEFInd in UEFI and GPT.

I use xinput list command
in Virtual core pinter, SYNA3602:00 0911:5208 Touchpad found,
and touchpad could tap, 2 finger scroll, 1 finger mouse marker move.
Why my jumper  touchpad could not click?

and I set off click on tap at setting up, but nothing to do.

Dear everyone.

Now, I update ubuntu-18.04.1 at my desktop PC.
software updater updated, and display grub pc setting windows.
grub setting windows say to select install grub device,
/dev/sda
-/dev/sda1
/dev/sdb

my pc environment has mbr(mbm bootloader) and pbr(grub).
I asked #675171, and repare, but now new problem.

I select '-/dev/sda1' and next, and 'do not install grub' not checked,
then again select install grub device, 
I select '-/dev/sda1' and next, and 'do not install grub' not checked,
repeat forever.

what actiion need to exit this probrem.

I missed affects, perhaps grub-pc( or grub).

I have 4 desktop pc, and 1 is UEFI bios.
I use UEFI bios to legacy mode.
other 3 PCs not support UEFI.

UEFI bios PC do not occurd to display select install grub device,
and finished update. but #675171 problem occurd.
My disk(/dev/sda) have 4 partions for 4 ubuntu.
I update to use software updater ubuntu in /dev/sda4,
grub update /dev/sda1 pbr.
so I want to boot ubuntu in /dev/sda1,
but boot up ubuntu in /dev/sda4.
/dev/sda2, /dev/sda3, /dev/sda4 are work fine,
only /dev/sda4 updated to affect /dev/sda1.

I repaired /dev/sda1 pbr to use grub-install command, 
but I want to update this problem.

Today I resetup parttion sda1 to use backup at amd pc(AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 250).
I restart PC, purple screen blink occur many times.

when start normal timing, I use update-grub commad to set up grub environment.
and select Ubuntu, with Linux 5.0.0-27-generic(recovery mode) start PC normal.

I cannot understand what case to occur purple screen blink,
and recovery it.

occur purple screen blink many times.
my experience, PC shut down one hour and power on PC,
boot up ubuntu-18.04.3 from sda1, ubutu-18.04.3 boot up normal.
I do not know this reason.

splash parameter is not kernel original parameter.
then I edit I edit /etc/default/grub to change 
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet" 
that is to delete splash only.

I tested to install ubuntu-18.04.2, ubuntu-18.04.3 at BIOS PC.
it is install /dev/sda1 and pbr, boot fine.

I experienced same situation another PC having GT218(Geforce 210).
I use linux-5.3.0-28.
then I update NVIDIA driver to use software-updater
that is recommened nvidia-340(340.107), may work fine.
Do ubuntu-18.04 recomened to use NVIDIA-driver?

I update ubuntu-18.04.3 to use software-updater,
then kernel update to 5.3.0-26.

Desktop PC environment( two PCs) are updated and boot up fine.
but notePC ( Intel celeron N3450 1.1GHz ) boot up and displayed many messages,
and I found a same message displayed, then power off PC force.
then power on notePC, boot up normaly.

I update ubuntu-18.04.3 to use software-updater,

Desktop PC environment(Core2 Duo E8400, so old PC) are updated and boot up fine.
but could not use applicaion, may be hung up.
could not click icon, but mouse are moved.
I use to restore backup and retry 3 times, but same result.

I reboot another patition ubuntu-18.04, and get /var/log/syslog.

  dear everyone.
  
  I update ubuntu-18.04.3 to use software-updater,
  then kernel update to 5.3.0-26.
  
  Desktop PC environment(Core2 Duo E8400, so old PC) are updated and boot up 
fine.
  but could not use applicaion, may be hung up.
  could not click icon, but mouse are moved.
  I use to restore backup and retry 3 times, but same result.
  
  I reboot another patition ubuntu-18.04, and get /var/log/syslog.
  I attached this report.
