[Bug 903787] Re: update-apt-xapian-index behaviour (on natty and ?)

2012-05-25 Thread Robert C. Sheets
I am experiencing this on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, but shouldn't bug #363695 be
reopened rather than discussing everything all over again in this new
bug?

[Bug 623036] Re: Can't unset S_ISUID, S_ISGID once set on a directory

2012-02-10 Thread Robert C. Sheets
It seems this is not actually considered a bug, but is an intentional
change to coreutils. See debian bug #604625 for an explanation.

I was simply confused and should have RTFM'd.

[Bug 749620] Re: ssh-keygen -h or ssh-keygen --help does not show help

2011-04-03 Thread Robert C. Sheets
The (illegal) -? switch does show help. Turns out -h is for "Generate
host certificate instead of a user certificate."

[Bug 787191] [NEW] Old link to Likewise Open documentation in 11.04 server guide

2011-05-23 Thread Robert C. Sheets
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ubuntu-docs

There is a link at https://help.ubuntu.com/11.04/serverguide/C/samba-ad-
integration.html referring to the Likewise Open Installation and
Administration Guide. The link target is out of date, as it goes to the
Guide for version 5.4 of Likewise Open, whereas natty includes version
6.0. The most recent docs are at
http://www.likewise.com/resources/documentation_library/manuals/open
/likewise-open-guide.html.
