[Bug 903787] Re: update-apt-xapian-index behaviour (on natty and ?)
I am experiencing this on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, but shouldn't bug #363695 be reopened rather than discussing everything all over again in this new bug? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/903787 Title: update-apt-xapian-index behaviour (on natty and ?) [Bug 623036] Re: Can't unset S_ISUID, S_ISGID once set on a directory
It seems this is not actually considered a bug, but is an intentional change to coreutils. See debian bug #604625 for an explanation. I was simply confused and should have RTFM'd. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/623036 Title: Can't unset S_ISUID, S_ISGID once set on a directory To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/coreutils/+bug/623036/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
