[Bug 536832] Re: Setting compose key as 'right CTRL' traps cursor in VirtualBox
Hi Andreas, Maybe it is not technically possible with the current way the compose key is implemented but I was expecting virtualbox to release the cursor from the virtual machine when pressing right CTRL. I would not expect that setting this key as the compose key would block other applications from detecting that the key had been pressed. -- Setting compose key as 'right CTRL' traps cursor in VirtualBox https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/536832 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Thanks for the response, Daniel. I set the values as you described and tried all three input sources but it still doesn't want to record. Nee700, this bug was submitted during the round of testing for the nvidia and ati propiertary drivers on lucid. [Bug 527428] Re: There is no way to rotate a display using nvidia proprietary drivers
I just tested this again in natty. I can confirm that adding the "RandRRotation" option to the xorg.conf file manually makes the setting appear in the nvidia config tool. However, when you try to rotate the monitor it crashes and this is displayed on the terminal: The program 'nvidia-settings' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)'. (Details: serial 314 error_code 2 request_code 154 minor_code 2) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/527428 Title: There is no way to rotate a display using nvidia proprietary drivers -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 747614] [NEW] Maximized windows do not scale correctly with Unity and TwinView
