[Bug 962993] [NEW] Frame for firefox does not implement the state "active" when firefox is the active frame
Public bug reported: In gnome desktop environment, we have AT-SPI which is used by assistive technologies. Currently firefox does support accessibility in linux. Whenever a frame is the currently activated frame, it takes the state "active" However, when firefox is the currently opened frame it does not assume the state of "active". This bug used to happen in an older version of firefox but was fixed(https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=566542). Looks like the bug is reproducible in the latest version(11.0) of firefox. The kernel linux- image-2.6.38-997-generic_2.6.38-997.201102120912_i386.deb from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/drm-intel-next/current/ doesn't work with external displays. [Bug 600453] Re: [arrandale] [i915] DELL E6510: blank screen on boot (Intel GPU)
Hi Manuel, I am a newbie and I don't know how to revert the 2 patches. Can you please tell me how to do it? Or would the fix come up in perhaps the next drm-intel-next? [Bug 600453] Re: [arrandale] [i915] DELL E6510: blank screen on boot (Intel GPU)
Tried the i386 kernel of comment #185 and would like to confirm that: 1. Boot works fine. 2. Suspend / resume works fine. 3. Works great when connected external display. 4. No problem at all using virtualbox 4.0.2 Looks like all problems with E6510 has finally been fixed. :) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/600453 Title: [arrandale] [i915] DELL E6510: blank screen on boot (Intel GPU) -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 716930] Re: Simultaneous access of multiple displays not working on Dell Latitude E6510
I tried the kernel at http://people.canonical.com/~apw/lp561802-natty/ which I found from https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/600453 and I can say that the bug was fixed in that kernel. >From what I know, I guess the fix was checked in (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/600453/comments/198) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/716930 Title: Simultaneous access of multiple displays not working on Dell Latitude E6510 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
