[Bug 1886658] [NEW] libsnmp-perl depends on wrong perl version

2020-07-07 Thread Michael Wodniok
Public bug reported:

OS: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS Focal Fossa

On amd64 and i386 only, the binary package libsnmp-perl depends on "perl
(>= 5.30.0-9ubuntu0.1) [amd64, i386]". A package with that version does
not exist. Instead, perl has the version "5.30.0-9build1" which is
"older", because of the version comparison of dpkg.

As the control has set the perl dependency via a macro i'm not able to
fix it.

** Affects: net-snmp (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

** Tags: packaging

already accepted (upstream-Bug #399: https://github.com/hercules-

[Bug 1580731] Re: augeas-lenses filter for PHP files doesn't match php7.0-* files

2016-08-18 Thread Michael Wodniok
... and the rest of my comment went away, thx launchpad ...

it contains only the first line, as i didn't know fpm was also affected (not
using it).
Please make sure the line fixes the problem for fpm. If yes, please either make
a PR, or say something, then i will create a second one.

The other question is, whether this package is still maintained (another
bug is still there, but patch exists and is posted here).

[Bug 1572554] Re: apt.conf.d does not parse valid files

2016-05-04 Thread Michael Wodniok
This patch is tested with version augeas-lenses 1.4.0-0ubuntu1. Since
there are no other in-code dependencies this patch should also work for
1.2.0-0ubuntu1.1 (=trusty version).

[Bug 1572554] [NEW] apt.conf.d does not parse valid files

2016-04-20 Thread Michael Wodniok
Public bug reported:

Ubuntu version: 14.04.4 (trusty)
augeas-lenses version: 1.2.0-0ubuntu1.1

The file /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/01autoremove causes a parsing error in
augtool:

augtool> ls /augeas/files/etc/apt/apt.conf.d/01autoremove
path = /files/etc/apt/apt.conf.d/01autoremove
mtime = 1397135092
lens/ = @AptConf
error/ = parse_failed

The bug causing this behaviour was already fixed in upstream at
2015-07-13:

https://github.com/hercules-
team/augeas/commit/a6873c40874557e481d056e70ba566c0220adfec

Please backport this fix to the current supported lts distributions. It
seems like xenial will get this fix.

[Bug 1457957] Re: puppet uses upstart for service status checks in vivid

2015-09-30 Thread Michael Wodniok
This still exists in current dev-version of Ubuntu 15.10. Is this a bug
caused by the (quite old, current Puppet-version is 4.2.2) Ubuntu
package or by puppet itself?

[Bug 1406126] [NEW] smm missing in current binary package

2014-12-28 Thread Michael Wodniok
Public bug reported:

Currently, on my Dell notebook i have to compile the smm application by
myself in order to get i8kmon running. It would be nice if smm also gets
shipped with the i8kutils binary package and called (with 30a3/31a3) if
needed automatically when i8kmon starts/ends.

Thanks for the nice work altough.

[Bug 1307778] Re: getent group on trusty returns only local groups

2014-11-17 Thread Michael Wodniok
Andreas Schneider seem to provide a fix for unmapped groups - which seems to be
the background problem here. You can find the Bug and it's patch at
https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10824
The fix seems to be included in samba 4.1.13 (to be verified), patch notes:
