[Bug 307574] [NEW] SigmaTel STAC9271X No Mic Functions
Public bug reported: This particular bug has been with me since Hardy but it was so close to Intrepid Release I thought I would wait and see if the problem resolved itself. It did not. I Have HDA INTEL SigmaTel STAC9271X I can select the input source as shown in the attached picture however once I close the Mixer and re-open it they are again unchecked. I have tried all 3 microphone ports on my computer to no avail. In the volume control if analog loopback is checked all I hear is static. The rest of my sound works fine it is only my microphone which will not work. [Bug 338961] [NEW] Dbus error and System freeze when inserting CD's
Public bug reported: When insterting a cd, any type of CD into my CD/DVD RW I sometimes receive the following error DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken. Then the entire system freezes and the only way out is a hard reboot. I'm able to use the disk drive in windows vista without a problem, also I'm able to boot up from disk and install from disk without a problem. I'm not sure what could be causing this issue. Please let me know if you need anymore information.
