[Bug 140517] Could'nt format CD-RW containing audio tracks
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: brasero [This is my first bug report so I'm apologies about missing elements for your comprehension . Please ask me if you want more informations :-)] Ubuntu 7.04 Brasero 0.5.2 After insertion of a CD-RW containing audio tracks application Sound Juicer (2.16.3) starts automatically. I close Sound Juicer and launch Brasero in order to format the CD. The format is impossible : pop-up message "Formatage impossible. Extraction audio en cours" (original message in French language which could be translated as "Unable to format. Audio extraction in progress"). I close Brasero and launch GnomeBaker to format my CD (no problem with this application). CD media is ejected and inserted again. I launch again brasero (after closing GnomeBaker) and make another audio compilation. I try after to burn my compilation but i get the message "Gravure impossible. Extraction audio en cours" (original message in French language which could be translated as "Unable to burn. Audio extraction in progress). After rebooting Ubuntu (hardware reboot). I can normally use Brasero to burn my compilation. No problem with Format and burn after if the CD-RW contains Data. Thank you for your attention. Regards. [Bug 157190] Re: No Splash Screen and No logout sound in Gusty
Confirm : no logout sound despite of appropriate configuration in sound preferences. However Splash screen is present for me. -- No Splash Screen and No logout sound in Gusty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/157190 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 450245] Re: Flightgear uses all CPU available, corrupted sound
I can confirm this too : Flightgear 1.9.1-1ubuntu1 (Ubuntu 9.10). I'm agree with Dmitry Ivanov : if you run Flightgear and looking at volume control applet in tab "applications", ALSA plug-in [fgfs] is blinking ! It seems like connection's problem between pulse daemon and fgfs process. When Flightgear is running pulse audio daemon is consuming about 30% of CPU (Intel Core 2 - 6420 @2.13GHz). Sometimes it could increase to 60%. Dmitry Ivanov's workaround is working perfect (thanks a lot). -- Flightgear uses all CPU available, corrupted sound https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/450245 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 450245] Re: Flightgear uses all CPU available, corrupted sound
For information i've got the same problem with the game "Scorched 3D". My other games (GNU/Linux native or Windows native under wine application) don't have any sound's problem. So it seems to be a specific bug for a few applications and not for pulse audio system. Scorched 3D sound's problem is described on internal forum (http://www.scorched3d.co.uk/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=5880&p=56543&hilit=pulse+pulse+audio#p56543). -- Flightgear uses all CPU available, corrupted sound https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/450245 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
