@David Barth My GNOME version - 2.28.1 Evolution version - 2.28.1 Icon Theme - standard for Ubuntu 9.10. Evolution setup - standard, just typed pop3 settings, no more changes in config. Indicator doesn't react, there is no notification of any kind.
