[Bug 411923] Re: Option GX0201 mobile broadband fails to connect

2010-05-21 Thread Maik Wagner
Hello,

I also have a "GX0201" card sold as "o2 Surf Card HSDPA/UMTS/GPRS" here
in Germany and I can't get it to work either. When I connect the card to
my PCMCIA slot, it is possible to create a new "mobile broadband
connection" using the setup-wizard but when I click on "Connect" I can
see a "spinning disc" in the NM-applet but it fails to connect after a
certain time and it says something like "You have been disconnected."
afterwards.

I tried Mandriva 2010.1 Beta 2 yesterday but couldn't get it to work in
there either. I have tried this in Ubuntu 9.10

German).

[Bug 1281329] Re: Sync up 14.04 release with latest avaiable version from project

2017-12-25 Thread Maik Wagner
I would like to confirm that there are indeed issues with Perl 5.26 and
SQL Ledger 3.25 which are pretty much the same as in Debian Bug 869994
and on my openSUSE box.

I haven't tried the workaround of commenting out the line of code as
indicated by the original SQL Ledger author but I will take a closer
look.

Console output from my openSUSE box is attached. I also have a "Bionic
Beaver" development server for testing purposes as I am also very keen
to have SQL Ledger available as an Ubuntu package.

The Bionic Beaver server apparently has 54 registered patches applied to
its current Perl version as opposed to the openSUSE "Tumbleweed"
release.

** Attachment added: "Error Log and Perl version of openSUSE Tumblewwed."

[Bug 1537461] Re: Version 3.2 of SQL Ledger now available

2017-10-02 Thread Maik Wagner
Dear RJ Clay,

I am very glad that somebody is looking at maintaining this package. Are
you looking to primarily support Ubuntu or Debian.

As upstream (DWS Systems) doesn't have its own github.com or other
source code repository would it be possible to unpack the upstream
tarball in launchpad.net and apply the missing files there?

If you are interested I completed some language packs for this
application as well and I quite enjoy using SQL Ledger.

Would you mind sharing how to reproduce these bugs?

2015-01-18 Thread Maik Wagner
I got some feedback from the ubuntuusers.de-community where I also made
them aware that yesterday's build had a bug. Apparently it happens when
you select a different language other than English. I was trying to do a
German installation so do select "German" (or a different language)
during startup to reproduce this.

the German translation is now fully complete and a new German chart of

Ledger.

[Bug 1092835] Re: missing translation entries not appearing in the "all" file

2014-05-03 Thread Maik Wagner
Hello Kent,

I am also contributing translations to "SQL Ledger". Unfortunately my
contributions were not included in the official "SQL Ledger" tarball but
there is a separate github-repository at: https://github.com/Tekki/sql-
ledger

In this reposity I have been advised to submit translations as follows:

- use the ISO-8859 Version
- locales.pl -a -m
- Add missing terms in "all", things which are not clear are not to be
translated
- locales.pl
- check *.missing is anything important is missing
- delete *.missing
- Submit translations to Tekki who makes the UTF-8 version out of it and
publishes it on github.
