Ok. I marked it as invalid since the "bug" was caused by a broken receiver for a wireless mouse that was plugged into my ps/2 port. The mouse position seems not to be caught at one point but at an area (i.e. a textarea in a chatprogram or the menu of a window). As I tried to describe: The visible pointer is not caught at all. But when I click it reacts as if it was in the area where it's caught. I have no idea how to trigger the bug. It happens while watching movies or typing (it just happened while I wrote this). It once even happened directly after the login. + edit2: + This happens with the nv (xserver-xorg-video-nv-1:2.1.14-2ubuntu3) driver as well as with nvidia (nvidia-glx-185.18.36-0ubuntu9). [Bug 1040160] [NEW] White-on-white text in Firefox
Public bug reported: With Greybird the firefox-autocompletion/suggestions from the adressbar and the searchbar appear white on white, so I have to hover the mouse over them to read them. Example: http://static.inky.ws/image/2608/image.jpg I'm using - Ubuntu Precise (12.04) - XFCE 4.10.0~ppa1 - The Greybird version from the package shimmer-themes-1.3.0-ubuntu1 - Firefox 14.0.1+build1-0ubuntu0.12.04.1 with Firefox extensions: - Adbolock Plus 2.1.2 - Download Helper 4.9.9 - Global Menu Bar integration 3.2.5 - Ubuntu Firefox Modifictations 2.1.1 - Web Developer 1.2.1 ** Affects: shimmer-themes (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1040160 Title: White-on-white text in Firefox To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/shimmer-themes/+bug/1040160/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1040160] Re: White-on-white text in Firefox
Solution was to reset the general.skins.selectedSkin variable in about:config. [Bug 933556] Re: aptitude is totally unusable due to rolling list of internal errors
Same here. The resolver seems to wonder, that there are packages he selected to remove, that stay (since there are two versions of them in multiarch). In my case I want to deinstall XFCE and this crazy resolver wants to offer a solution which would remove libc6.
