[Bug 1603016] [NEW] OSK should be able to have app specific suggestions

[Bug 1363015] Re: App icons require shaping at every callsite
let's discuss in the next SDK meeting. [Bug 1378267] Re: Suspended app screenshots are blurry
I discussed this with Michael and we had the following thoughts -We should store the screenshots in full res up to some point (like 720p, to be tested when implementing). So on low res devices they are full resolution, on higher dpi devices there won't be that much of a visible diff anyway. Full res screenshots on very high dpi devices is not advisable due to high memory fingerprint -let's make sure the screenshots are stored as 8bit png's and not 24bit - big memory/size difference and we don't need the alpha channel -Desaturation and spinner (same way as when starting the app) to indicate state is being restored and the app is not able to respond -fade out the spinner and have a small crossfade between the desaturated screenshot and the running app in the end if possible ** Changed in: ubuntu-ux Status: Triaged => Fix Committed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1378267 Title: Suspended app screenshots are blurry To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-ux/+bug/1378267/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1410337] [NEW] Launching a scope once installed is broken
Public bug reported: Current situation: 1) Search for a scope in app store (for example "Cinema"). 2) Install it 3) After installation, you have two buttons: Uninstall and Search. 4) Tap Search. Instead of being taken to the scope, you get taken to a nested installation screen. If installing it for 2nd time from there, Search button doesn't do anything after 2nd install. Fix: "Search" button should take you directly to the scope you just installed. Also "Search" doesn't sound like a clear word for opening the scope, maybe consider "Open" instead? ** Affects: canonical-devices-system-image Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: unity8 (Ubuntu) Importance: High Assignee: Andrea Cimitan (cimi) Status: Triaged -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1410337 Title: Launching a scope once installed is broken To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-devices-system-image/+bug/1410337/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1450213] Re: [SDK] cursor handle should not be visible if field is empty
Discussed this with Christian yesterday. Solution - don't show handler when tapping on an empty textfield. Long press textfield in order to access copy/paste ** Description changed: On arale ui-tookit version 1.2.1485+15.04.20150429-0ubuntu1 The big blue cursor handle should not be visible if the text field is empty, as dragging does nothing. It should only be displayed if the field has text (or spaces) in it where dragging would make sense. Steps to reproduce: 1) reboot phone 2) launch messaging-app 3) swipe up from bottom to create new messaage Expected results: - cursor should be blinking in field - no text handle should be visible Actual results: - cursor is blinking in field - big blue cursor handle is visible NOTE, you can repeat this same thing by pressing the Search icon in the dash. The blue cursor appears even when nothing in paste buffer. + + SOLUTION: + + Don't show handler when tapping on an empty textfield. [Bug 1409606] Re: Default keyboard colour scheme slows users down
I think the main thing slowing typing down is not the visual design but lack of predictive input in terms of adjusting the touch area sizes around the keys based on what the user is typing. For comparison, Android 5 doesn't have the buttons at all, just characters and background colour - and typing is still fast. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1409606 Title: Default keyboard colour scheme slows users down To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-keyboard/+bug/1409606/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1371846] Re: [SDK] no way to disable PageHeadState actions highlighting
Timp is this something we an add in the dark theme so that all apps that use dark theme don't have to implement it?
