[Bug 1825485] [NEW] It requires two dependencies that are in conflict (libqt5core5a and qtbase-abi)
Public bug reported: It requires two dependencies that are in conflict (libqt5core5a and qtbase-abi-5-2-1) and according to I saw at https://pkgs.org/download /qtbase-abi-5-2-1 it is included in libqt5core5a. And I can not install (libqt5multimedia5) because it requires qtbase-abi-5-2-1 but I already have libqt5core5a installed. [Bug 1825485] Re: It requires two dependencies that are in conflict (libqt5core5a and qtbase-abi)
I solved the problem, I had installed libqt5core5a but the version "5.5.1 + dfsg-16ubuntu7.5 ~ ppa1404 + 1" that was installed when I added the repository (deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/mscore-ubuntu/ mscore-stable / ubuntu trusty main) this to be able to install (MuseScore). I had to unbundle the repository and install the package "libqt5core5a_5.2.1 + dfsg-1ubuntu14.3_amd64.deb" from (https://ubuntu.pkgs.org/14.04/ubuntu-updates-main-amd64/libqt5core5a_5.2.1+dfsg- 1ubuntu14.3_amd64.deb.html) and after updating the repositories, I was able to install the package "libqt5multimedia5" that gave an unfulfilled dependency, and in the end I could install other packages to finally install (Audacious) even though I ran out (MuseScore) by now. I thank you for the observation that helped me find the root of the problem. Just to check which was installed before and which I already have now Instalados: 5.2.1+dfsg-1ubuntu14.3 Candidato: 5.5.1+dfsg-16ubuntu7.5~ppa1404+1 Tabla de versión: 5.5.1+dfsg-16ubuntu7.5~ppa1404+1 0 500 http://ppa.launchpad.net/mscore-ubuntu/mscore-stable/ubuntu/ trusty/main amd64 Packages *** 5.2.1+dfsg-1ubuntu14.3 0 500 http://hn.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty-updates/main amd64 Packages 500 http://hn.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty-security/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 5.2.1+dfsg-1ubuntu14 0 500 http://hn.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty/main amd64 Packages jorge@jorge-Inspiron-3558:~$ -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1825485 Title: It requires two dependencies that are in conflict (libqt5core5a and qtbase-abi) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qtmultimedia-opensource-src/+bug/1825485/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
