[Bug 426185] Re: Gnome-panel fails to load various applets
I started getting this problem shortly after upgrading to 9.10 from 9.04. At first, logging off and then back on seemed to do the trick. now, a killall gnome-panel is required to get it to work and, as mentioned above, there seems to be some issue with the weather applet. when the log on/off was working, the wx applet was displayed. now, going the killall route, no weather app and trying to install it does not work either. I have also tried to replace the gnome-panel via the SPM. -- Gnome-panel fails to load various applets https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/426185 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Hello Mark, or anyone else affected, Accepted masakari into ussuri-proposed. To enable the -proposed repository: sudo add-apt-repository cloud-archive:ussuri-proposed sudo apt-get update Your feedback will aid us getting this update out to other Ubuntu users. If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug, mentioning the version of the package you tested, and change the tag from verification-ussuri-needed to verification-ussuri-done. If it does not fix the bug for you, please add a comment stating that, and change the tag to verification-ussuri-failed. In either case, details of your testing will help us make a better decision. [Bug 1933410] [NEW] [SRU] ceph 15.2.13
Public bug reported: [Impact] This release fixes several bugs. We would like to make sure all of our users have access to these improvements. The update contains the following package updates: * ceph 15.2.13 [Test Case] The following SRU process was followed: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/OpenStackUpdates In order to avoid regression of existing users, the OpenStack team will run their continuous integration test against the packages that are in -proposed. A successful run of all available tests will be required before the proposed packages can be let into -updates. The OpenStack team will be in charge of attaching the output summary of the executed tests. The OpenStack team members will not mark ‘verification-done’ until this has happened. [Regression Potential] In order to mitigate the regression potential, the results of the aforementioned tests are attached to this bug. ** Affects: cloud-archive Importance: Undecided Status: Invalid ** Affects: cloud-archive/ussuri Importance: Undecided Status: Triaged ** Affects: ceph (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Invalid ** Affects: ceph (Ubuntu Focal) Importance: Undecided Status: Triaged ** Affects: ceph (Ubuntu Groovy) Importance: Undecided Status: Triaged ** Also affects: ceph (Ubuntu Focal) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: ceph (Ubuntu Groovy) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: ceph (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid ** Also affects: cloud-archive Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: cloud-archive/ussuri Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: ceph (Ubuntu Focal) Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: ceph (Ubuntu Groovy) Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: cloud-archive/ussuri Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: cloud-archive Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1933410 Title: [SRU] ceph 15.2.13 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/cloud-archive/+bug/1933410/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1826857] Re: offloading disabled when using linuxbrige or bonding
Revisiting this bug with new information. I can confirm that when a bridge is involved in the data path, hardware offloading of packets gets disabled as the network flow bumps to and from the kernel and the NIC. However with bonding and appropriate switchdev configuration, offloading works fine and this is a more typical configuration. Sticking to OVS bridges rather than using Linux bridges as well will avoid this situation. AFAICT this is working as intended so marking this bug as a wont fix. ** Changed in: openvswitch (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Won't Fix ** Changed in: cloud-archive Status: New => Won't Fix -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1826857 Title: offloading disabled when using linuxbrige or bonding To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/cloud-archive/+bug/1826857/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
