[Bug 306087] [NEW] rt73usb intrepid 8.10 -- wireless connection periodically lost
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.27-10-generic Following the advice on this comment https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/283759/comments/25 I'm creating a new bug report for this issue that it hasn't been solved (at least for me and others). The network rt73usb driver doesn't work, my machine keeps disconnecting every few KB transfered (or seconds passed). I tried installing the linux-backports-2.6.27-10-generic package but the driver isn't being loaded. I updated from linux-image-2.6.27-8 to linux-image-2.6.27-10 today and the connection issues have improved. My machine keeps disconnecting though, don't know if it's every few MB transfered or every few minutes. I'll keep testing. I used the backports package for 2.6.27-8 but not for this one. I'll try it out to see if improves. Hi, For the last couple of months I've been plugged to the cable because I haven't had the chance to continue to test the fixes proposed for this bug. [Bug 1480004] [NEW] Prevent cgroup filesystem from getting mounted
Public bug reported: On trusty (14.04.1), I installed `cgroup-lite` (1.9) which mounts the virtual FS for cgroups subsystems in `/sys/fs/cgroup/*`. I've executed `cgclear` (from the `cgroup-bin` package) and uninstalled/purged `cgroup-lite`. When I reboot, the subsystems are mounted again. Question is: how can I prevent this from happening? Is there any config/script file that is read/executed when booting that accomplishes this? No other packages related to cgroups (e.g. `lxc`, `libcgroup1` or `cgmanager`) are installed. ** Affects: cgroup-lite (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1480004 Title: Prevent cgroup filesystem from getting mounted To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cgroup-lite/+bug/1480004/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
