[Bug 613035] Re: Printing duplex does not work
Hi, same problem with HP OfficeJet 8500 Pro (Evince & Openoffice). Under OpenOffice I’m able to set Duplex (Long Edge), if I set Paper- Format to "A4 AutoDuplex". Sadly it has no effect on printing: Simplex- Mode is used in any case. My workaround is to create a PDF and use hp- print, which is viable, if you don't print many doc/odt-Files in Duplex- Mode like me. I usually print pdfs, which is bad, because I have not figured out yet how to tell hp-print where to find not-embedded fonts. kind regards from Dortmund/Germany, Fabian -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/613035 Title: Printing duplex does not work -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 613035] Re: Printing duplex does not work
Duplex printing is working fine in evince for me, too. Maybe the ticket should be transfered to Libreoffice. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/613035 Title: Printing duplex does not work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/613035/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 613035] Re: Printing duplex does not work
Hi, i just tested again. I checked bug #657357. I'm using hplip 3.10.6-1ubuntu10.2. Evince: I'm still just able to select "One Sided" in "Page Setup" within the option "Two-sided". It does not matter, if Paper-Format is set to "A4" or "A4 AutoDuplex". Openoffice: The Printing-Dialogue still behaves as described above (my post written on 2011-01-11). Considering the above, i have to re-confirm this bug on a fully-updated Maverick. kind regards from Dortmund/Germany, Fabian -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/613035 Title: Printing duplex does not work -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
