[Bug 1754492] Re: Dell XPS 15 - Turned off Keyboard backlight turns on after resuming from suspend
@Kai-Heng, I've recently reinstalled Ubuntu Gnome and now have kernel 4.13.0-39-generic. Does that suffice? or does it need to be installed from the link you specified? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1754492 Title: Dell XPS 15 - Turned off Keyboard backlight turns on after resuming from suspend To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1754492/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1754492] Re: Dell XPS 15 - Turned off Keyboard backlight turns on after resuming from suspend
Thanks. I'll try it this weekend. Moreover, I'd like to add that when suspended the laptop light remains solid. Wouldn't it be more appropriate to have it "beat"? Also, I am getting a pcierrors during boot among other problems. I reported them in another bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu- gnome/+bug/1766327 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1754492 Title: Dell XPS 15 - Turned off Keyboard backlight turns on after resuming from suspend To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1754492/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1687397] Re: Kernel freeze when plugging in external monitor via USB-C->DP-Adapter
It seems this is the same bug for Dell XPS 15 as well. Not always, but sometimes this happens either using the DA200 adapter (Type-C usb) or direct HDMI. [Bug 1088470] [NEW] Killing Gnome-Do resets shortcut & doesn't let Do launch at startup
Public bug reported: On several occasions I was forced to kill some applications including Gnome Do. After I kill & relaunch Gnome Do, the assigned shortcut is reset to nothing, but i get the main interface from which I could reassign the shortcut from the preferences menu. This last time, I was not able to get the window to reassign the shortcut! No matter how many times I try, Gnome Do doesn't launch (graphically); it is running in the background. I haven't tried to reboot the system this time since I've been working on something & do not wish to reboot. How can I access the preferences? Btw, I think it would be useful in such cases if Gnome Do had a cli interface or at least some options! [Bug 41301] Re: Mouse clicks stop working sporadically
This also happens on my Dell Studio XPS 1640 laptop. The only workaround that works for me is to close the lid to suspend & repon it. Then the mouse works agian.
