[Bug 1964711] Re: [amdgpu] Locked Ubuntu is frozen and cannot be unlocked
I’ve done the following things now: Unsuccessful: Upgrade from Ubuntu 20.04 to 21.04. This did not solve the issue. Successful: Manually uninstall and install the latest amdgpu package from https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/release-notes/rn-amdgpu-unified- linux-21-20. Specifically, I downloaded amdgpu- pro-21.20-1271047-ubuntu-20.04.tar.xz and installed it via the amdgpu- install binary. This seems to have solved the issue. I reckon there is a good chance that it was rather uninstalling and reinstalling the driver than installing a specific version of it, but that I can’t tell with certainty. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1964711 Title: [amdgpu] Locked Ubuntu is frozen and cannot be unlocked To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-hwe-5.13/+bug/1964711/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1966593] Re: gnome session locks when disconnecting external screen
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It sounds like some part of the system has crashed. To help us find the cause of the crash please follow these steps: 1. Look in /var/crash for crash files and if found run: ubuntu-bug YOURFILE.crash Then tell us the ID of the newly-created bug. 2. If step 1 failed then look at https://errors.ubuntu.com/user/ID where ID is the content of file /var/lib/whoopsie/whoopsie-id on the machine. Do you find any links to recent problems on that page? If so then please send the links to us. 3. If step 2 also failed then apply the workaround from bug 994921, reboot, reproduce the crash, and retry step 1. Please take care to avoid attaching .crash files to bugs as we are unable to process them as file attachments. It would also be a security risk for yourself. ** Changed in: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1966593 Title: gnome session locks when disconnecting external screen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1966593/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1964916] Re: [HP Omni 120-2110il AIO] Flickering white lines on screen
So here's an update, It seems like I don't have the 'Secure Boot' Option in my bios so I couldn't test it. I disabled UEFI devices from my bios and that forced it to use legacy boot devices only (Sandisk Cruzer Blade in the above video is my bootable pendrive from which I am installing ubuntu) Then reinstalled Ubuntu, but still the issues are same.. Here is a video of bug during the installation process- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VMa3WcwaYQ And here is a video of the startup process- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lIZj-oHXCHs My BIOS doesn't have a direct option to switch to legacy or UEFI mode, so I disabled UEFI devices to force it to use legacy mode (and that's why there are not UEFI boot sources in the video above) In short- Nothing Changed, Everything is the same -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1964916 Title: [HP Omni 120-2110il AIO] Flickering white lines on screen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-hwe-5.11/+bug/1964916/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1927100] Re: Slow file dialogs, open and save
Thank you for working with us to try and get a test plan for Ubuntu together. How about this: 1) I'll accept the package (1.44.1-1ubuntu1.1) into focal-proposed. 2) You test using your Ubuntu VM as best as you can to ensure that the package hasn't regressed for Ubuntu users. 3) You verify the package fixes your race on Mint as pragmatically you've found no practical way to test on Ubuntu. 4) If we're good on both verifications, I'll publish the update to focal-updates. Does this plan work for you? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1927100 Title: Slow file dialogs, open and save To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gvfs/+bug/1927100/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
