[Bug 1729536] Re: InnoDB: Failing assertion: sym_node->table != NULL

2017-11-30 Thread Eric Fjøsne
@Olaf: it wasn't available anymore unfortunately.

After deactivating the OPTIMIZE statements and changing the TRUNCATE
statement to DELETE FROM in our pre-production scripts, I can happily
confirm there was no outage on our server during this night.

If this can help investigating this bug in any way?

Thanks in advance,

Eric

My guess:
1. Test with just the optimize enabled.
2. Test with just the truncate enabled.

3. If the crashes return, try to narrow it down to specific queries /
tables.

[Bug 1735361] [NEW] "use a prediction service to load pages more quickly" feature works badly

2017-11-30 Thread dino99
Public bug reported:

>From chrome://settings -> privacy & security

if the "use a service to load pages more quickly" option is activated,
then browsing become worst:

- after a few pages loaded, the hdd is continously scanned , the
complete system freeze during this heavy scanning, the ram is fully used
and the swap is fullfiled. This let think that this option is trying to
grab too deeply the related pages (should be limited to the page itself,
not including the embedded links). Maybe this is acceptable with ssd,
but with hdd its a nightmare.

[Bug 1574617] Re: External monitor keeps going blank

2017-11-30 Thread Jari Hyle
I have EliteBook Folio 1040 ( kernel 4.10.0-40-generic ) and this is
happening when connected to multiple external monitors. Otherwise it
works fine but the screen which I am currently working on goes blank and
comes back after few seconds. I tried using only one external monitor
and it happened again.

This problem didn't exist with my old laptop but the fresh 16.04 install
in the new laptop is misbehaving.

No problems with just the laptop's own screen.

[Bug 1735367] [NEW] Prevent redrawing list of networks when visible

2017-11-30 Thread Nick Rose
Public bug reported:

When selecting a network to connect to from nm-applet's list, sometimes
the list updates and redraws itself the split-second before clicking on
a network. The often results in the order of networks changing, so that
the wrong network is clicked on by mistake.

It would be helpful if the list was prevented from updating/redrawing
when it is visible, so that this cannot happen.

An alternative solution would be to have the option to hide user-
selected networks that will never be used from the list (e.g. ones that
belong to neighbours etc.), so that they can never be clicked on by
mistake in the future.

** Affects: network-manager-applet (Ubuntu)

[Bug 1710019] Re: support GICv3 ITS save/restore & migration

2017-11-30 Thread ChristianEhrhardt
Thanks Andy,
I pushed a revert to qemu's packaging git to ensure there is no accidential
upload of the same content on the next zesty SRU.

@Dannf - once you had time to sort out the acceptance for the zesty kernel as
well as this regressions and come to want to push this again let us know.
I set it back to triaged for now on zesty.

** Changed in: qemu (Ubuntu Zesty)
   Status: Fix Committed => Triaged
