[Bug 1606178] Re: Can't suspend to ram, since linux3.11 and more
Well, someone help me and we finally don't do the bisect: all I can say: the problem comes with the 3.11.0-031100rc1.201307141935 Linux kernel image for ubuntu kernel release. We don't find the main kernel corresponding, and we esteemed that will be a very to big work for no guarantee. So we try to find a solution with 16.04, because the goal of all this is to suspend with an higher kernel than 3.10 with my hardware. We found it by first do: -disable usb wake up( cat /proc/acpi/wakeup to check what is enable) -then, I need to first do sudo pm-suspend in the session. If I don't, I can't resume. If I do first sudo pm-suspend in the session, then I can resume normally. So I need to do this if I reboot. So workaround found, this thread can be closed! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1606178 Title: Can't suspend to ram, since linux3.11 and more To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1606178/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1681847] Re: IPVS incorrectly reverse-NATs traffic to LVS host
It's hard to tell whether this was the result of an upgrade - I think this behaviour has always been present in the 14.04 stock kernels, but we noticed it less until recently. I'll look into testing the latest upstream kernel and get back to you. If I get a chance I'll also try to look through the kernel source where we know the problem exists - I expect it relates to the code that handles the return path for NAT (masq) services, in relation to how it treats entries in the IPVS connection table. [Bug 1682049] [NEW] package ubuntu-app-launch 0.9+16.10.20160928-0ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed pre-removal script returned error exit status 1
Public bug reported: I get a tonne of these reports on boot and can't seem to find anything in the syslog or dmesg which matches. This is a backwards incompatible change which can break existing VMs networking, as interfaces cannot have multiple names (unlike e.g. hard drives which can have backwards compatible symlinks). I'm not even sure yet, if I should be writing more code to e.g. automatically transform /etc/networking/interfaces with new interface names. -- Regards, Dimitri. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1679674 Title: s390x: Interface order in kvm guest image not predictable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-z-systems/+bug/1679674/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1682055] [NEW] dh_apparmor does not remove profiles(s) when purging package
Public bug reported: dh_apparmor adds an entry to remove apparmor profiles added by a package when purging that package. However, it leaves the profiles loaded in the kernel; it should unload them from the kernel before removing them from the disk. Secondly, dh_apparmor could make life easier for maintainers when upgrading packages and the profile changes the name of profiles, child profiles, or hats contained within a profile file. Without this, the update can leave behind profiles etc. loaded into the kernel post a package update. This would ideally need to be triggered only when the upgrading package is older than a given version. ** Affects: apparmor (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1682055 Title: dh_apparmor does not remove profiles(s) when purging package To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apparmor/+bug/1682055/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1674164] Re: DVDs with restricted permissions are unreadable for normal user (regression?)
In my view this is not invalid: "differently correct" recorders and also printed DVDs are common in the wild and they work on Windows, osX and "dumb" readers. And as the average user is not able to figure out a workaround, he will assume that ubuntu is broken and switch to something else. The same argument ("we are applying the permissions") was made in 2009 for bug #10550 and ubuntu decision back then was to change the mount options (possibly only to CDs/DVDs/Blueray, this is not clear from the bug). And let me stress again that this is indeed a regression: people used to be able to play their braindead DVDs and now they cannot. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1674164 Title: DVDs with restricted permissions are unreadable for normal user (regression?) [Bug 1681847] Re: IPVS incorrectly reverse-NATs traffic to LVS host
I think I may have tracked this down, but I haven't had a go at patching it yet. In net/netfilter/ipvs/ip_vs_core.c - in handle_response(): /* mangle the packet */ if (pp->snat_handler && !pp->snat_handler(skb, pp, cp, iph)) goto drop; This calls the protocol-specific SNAT handler - however, it doesn't first check that (IP_VS_FWD_METHOD(cp) == IP_VS_CONN_F_MASQ), as is done in a couple of the other netfilter modules. I think this means SNAT is *always* done on response packets, even if the connection information was for a non-NAT connection. I'll update the issue once I've had a go at patching this. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1681847 Title: IPVS incorrectly reverse-NATs traffic to LVS host To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1681847/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1682031] Re: adobe flashplugin could not be installed in lubuntu 17.04
I installed from zesty-desktop-i386.iso (without fetching any proprietary packages). After rebooting into the installed system I could install flashplugin-installer (and the whole lubuntu-restricted-extras). It seems this bug affects only the installation of Lubuntu itself, or maybe it is depending on the hardware. [Bug 1671432] Re: Global application menu does not follow mouse move for displaying submenus
Thanks to a debug session with Treviño. We narrowed the bug down: The misbehavior is related to the multi-monitor setup. The mouse moves over the global menu are correctly honored on the left-most monitor. On all other monitors, the mouse moves are not honored (the right monitor in a dual-monitor setup, the middle and the right monitor in a triple- monitor setup). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1671432 Title: Global application menu does not follow mouse move for displaying submenus To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/1671432/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
