[Bug 1500242] Re: Bluetooth devices (Jabra BT250, Audi A3 car kit) can not be connected with BQ Aquaris 4.5

2016-06-24 Thread Stefan Hammes
Aquaris E5
Porsche 911 Car 997 (2011)

Update with OTA 11:
After prompting to connect with a 4-digit pin code,
the Ubuntu phone connected with the Car and
synchronized adressbook and phone lists on the car display, fine.
But after leaving and retourning to the car the phone did not reconnect anymore.
So it is still an issue.

[Bug 1435040] Re: Ubuntu Phone (BQ E4.5) does not connect to car-bluetooth

2016-06-24 Thread Stefan Hammes
OTA 11 Update:

Aquaris E5
Porsche 911 Car 997 (2011)

After prompting to connect with a 4-digit pin code,
the Ubuntu phone connected with the Car and
synchronized adressbook and phone lists on the car display, fine.
But after leaving and retourning to the car the phone did not reconnect anymore.
So it is still an issue.

[Bug 1595888] [NEW] k3b silently and cluelessly denies overburning

2016-06-24 Thread Uqbar
Public bug reported:

When (over)burning a DVD ISO, the application silently refuses to do it, until
I enable overburning feature.
I would expect a warning dialog saying: the iso image is too large! Try
enabling overburning.

I used xprop on it and it told me that. Sorry for not including the

[Bug 1595898] [NEW] Bq Aquaris 5 HD: 2x on/off to activate cellular internet

2016-06-24 Thread Michael
Public bug reported:

Bq Aquaris 5 HD needs to toggle cellular data on/off 2x to activate
cellular internet.

Steps:
I. Check one of the SIM cards to switch on mobile data

Expected result:
1. Mobile data indicator ("H" or "E") shown next to SIM
2. Mobile indicator at network status bar
3. Mobile data for SIM gets active

Actual result:
1. Mobile data indicator shown next to SIM
2. No mobile indicator at network status bar
3. No mobile data connection

Additional steps:
II. Check off cellular data
III. Check on the same SIM card again

Final result:

1. Mobile data indicator shown next to SIM
2. Mobile indicator at network status bar
3. Mobile data connection working

As I didn't have this behaviour before updating to OTA-11 this bug seemed to be
introduced there either with the new ubuntu-system-settings app or network
manager update.

[Bug 1570352] Re: strongswan vpn cannot be established via the network-manager

2016-06-24 Thread Bernie Hoeneisen
It looks like the duplicate merge combined two different issues, i.e.

1) Network-manager does not show a choice for Strongswan in the
configuration (as commented by jonas-koeritz) and reported in bug
1578193

2) "connection fails without error message" as described in the
beginning of this bug 1570352 by volker kempter

Not sure whether these two bugs are interrelated. It may make sense to
address these separately.

[Bug 1592862] Re: Merge e2fsprogs from Debian 1.43.1-1

2016-06-24 Thread Colin Watson
Ted's comments sound reasonable. I'd suggest you just go ahead and
sync, dropping our delta, and in the unlikely event that we need to put
something back for some exotic architecture then we can do so.

Re: [Bug 1563398] Re: Set the front camera as the default for video media requests

2016-06-24 Thread David Barth
Just confirm that the silo is on its way to the release now, having passed
QA. I listed your appear.in webapp in the testcase.

Note that there is still an annoying issue we are aware of, related to
inverted rotations which are not being exposed by the Qt API. See bug:
535820 for reference.

[Bug 1595656] Re: modprobe ftdi_sio - nonfunctional for (some) devices

2016-06-24 Thread Joseph Salisbury
Did this issue start happening after an update/upgrade? Was there a
prior kernel version where you were not having this particular problem?

Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v4.7 kernel[0].

If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following
tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'.

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag:
'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'.

Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as
"Confirmed".

[Bug 1588562] Re: Please add ~/.local/bin to the default $PATH

2016-06-24 Thread Launchpad Bug Tracker
This bug was fixed in the package bash - 4.3-15ubuntu1

---
bash (4.3-15ubuntu1) yakkety; urgency=medium

  * Merge with Debian; remaining changes:
- skel.bashrc:
  - Run lesspipe.
  - Enable ls aliases.
  - Set options in ll alias to -alF.
  - Define an alert alias.
  - Enabled colored grep aliases.
- etc.bash.bashrc:
  - Add sudo hint.

bash (4.3-15) unstable; urgency=medium

  * Apply upstream patches 043 - 046. Fixes:
- When the lastpipe option is enabled, the last component can contain
nested pipelines and cause a segmentation fault under
  certain circumestances.
- A typo prevents the `compat42' shopt option from working as intended.
- If a file open attempted as part of a redirection fails because it is
interrupted by a signal, the shell needs to process any pending traps
to allow the redirection to be canceled.
- An incorrect conversion from an indexed to associative array can result
  in a core dump.
  * Add $HOME/.local/bin to PATH, and add the user's home directories
unconditionally to the path, so that they are available without
a new login. Closes: #820856, LP: #1588562.

[Bug 1595910] [NEW] review input field: send button issues with predictive OSK

2016-06-24 Thread Michael Zanetti
Public bug reported:

Steps to reproduce:

* Make sure predictive OSK is enabled
* got an app in the store and start writing a review
* Just write one word, no space after it (so that it is underlined for text
correction things)

=> actual:
The send button is disabled even though the text field holds a word

=> expected:
The send button should be enabled

Most likely the Send button is enabled/disabled based on inputField.text, while
it should be inputField.displayText instead.

[Bug 1584356] Re: Difficulty with text selection in BQ M10 Tablet

I've been testing this and it looks like the issue is about
responsiveness for the M10 hardware and the handles are not responding
to the larger display. This is not an intended feature and will be
addressed.
