[Bug 1513367] [NEW] qemu-system-x86_64/kvm-spice failed to boot a vm with appmor enabled
Public bug reported: This bug is seperate from bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libvirt/+bug/1384532 to focus on the error. I have been trying to redeploy the environment, for this time, the error is not about kvm-spice, it is qemu-system-x86_64 got the same problem. Due to /usr/bin/qemu-system-x86_64 is a bin file, I am not able to put the strace there. I'm seeing this in Vivid -> Wily too, but in a Xen VM, not an LXC container. [Bug 1513371] [NEW] suspend/resume fails to wake up screen
Public bug reported: I frequently use suspend on my desktop, from some point after the 15.04 upgrade (and still after upgrading to 15.10) I can suspend the machine but when I press the power button to resume the machine appears to be up but the screen never powers on. I can connect from another machine via ssh so it is up and running, in order to resolve the situation I have to reboot the machine either by a long press of the power button or running reboot from the ssh remote session. I could not identify the right package for this. It happened when using one of the latest upstream Kernel 4.3 versions from the mainline kernel repository. That was the change that brought the problem: Using a 4.3 instead of a 4.2.5 Kernel. No other changes were applied. Due to its effect I obviously suspect the problem somewhere in the graphics subsystem or the graphics drivers for online graphics. But this is pure speculation. Yesterday I installed nvidia driver 355.11 update from the "ubuntu fresh graphics"-PPA and the problem seems to be fixed. I can switch via "prime select" and login via light-dm works fine on nvidia. There's only one flaw beloging to screen postioning but this is a new issue and should not be mixed with this problem. For me this issue could be marked as fixed and closed. I suppose it might beep (configurable sound?) once at 10%, then at 5% and after that every 10 minutes, by default. With an option for beeping every 20, 10, 5 and 2 minutes after the 5% mark. All this when the screen is off, of course. [Bug 1513402] [NEW] Touchpad and keybord not responding after random time of using the touchpad
Public bug reported: Hi, I have Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS (64-bit) on HP Pavilion g6. When I use the built-in touchpad, after a random time the touchpad stops responding. The keyboard stops working as well. The only thing that would work is the USB mouse, but only when it is plugged in the USB 3.0 port. In other words, it seems to disable all USB 2.0 as well. So I use the mouse to asleep the machine and after the wake-up all is fine, until I use the touchpad again. The power cord in or out has no effect on it. I observe this bug since 12.04. Could anyone help? Mmm… You were right it seems I was not smart enough in faking QWERTY regarding numbers. I should have checked before filing a bug, sorry! However, shouldn't the fact that Unity8 switches to QWERTY still be considered as a bug? Should I modify this bug or should I file a new one? On a related note, once logged in, I changed the keyboard layout to French but it did not work (even though French was the only ticked layout) and I was still stuck in QWERTY.
